I'm curious what rosters you used to start your franchise

Whatever the current updated rosters from Sony were. I usually don't wait the months to get a franchise going. Once the OS rosters are out I then decide if I want to restart but rarely do as I look at it as "My MLB World" and not the real world.

It takes the batters and hitters current "Stats" and abilities into account. It can be 0-2, 3-0 etc..
It really is a great (finally) addition to the game.

Good to hear as I LOVED generated counts back in ASB '05. I'm pumped for this game...I love BF4 but I'm ready for a fresh game!!!

Grabbed trials but only had time to do a couple tracks. Spent more time on loading screens than on tracks, hope that's not a thing. Especially saving.

Joe Danger. Another game I missed out on.

After playing Trials and then playing that garbage it was clear as day which one was superior. I always compared it to MLB The Show and then the other baseball game that was released on the Xbox. You think it plays ok until you play the other one then you realize how ****ty it really is.

It's not all that great, though. It's alright, but apparently Trials trumps it by a large margin.

It does and especially if you have lots of people you know on the leader boards. Kind of like how pinball arcade is.

Yeah, that's why I know what icing and stuff is. I find NBA2K to be one of the least friendly games to learn the sport for me though as someone who doesn't know many of the nuances (play calling) and some basics (positions - F, SF, PF, etc) of the sport.

Heck, I played basketball in high school and some of the plays and stuff in 2k confuses me. I have no shame though because I play with the Play Call design thing (I can't think of what it's called at the moment) on all the time. That really helps me a lot.

Plus, knowing thing like the numbers associated with the positions (PG -1, SG -2, etc) helps with calling plays too. I'm sure there's some good tips around the web if you really want to learn more.

The controls are really what gets me though. I mean, they aren't too difficult, I guess, but I generally stick to the same type of moves. I'd love to be able to break the opposing PG's ankles with Rondo, but for me those are very few and far between. I have to be more resourceful and use picks, although sometimes I can blow past players with his speed which is nice.

I'm with ya. The wait is not too much longer. I'm actually trying to get a lot of movie and date nights in with the wife now because come May 6th she won't be seeing a lot of me..... plus, with Watch Dogs and UFC right around the corner I know I've got to get my sucking up in now.

I know. I need a 12 step program for The Show.

Playing 2k I've started to pick up off-ball movement while watching actual games. Who's coming off a screen or where the ball is trying to pushed. I guess it depends on how you play the game and how in-depth you try to go with it. Playing with Washington I've noticed how different and more frequent player rotation is - especially with the forwards and center - compared to the last NBA game I played more than a week, NBA 2K5 with friggin Ben Wallace on the cover.

First of all, looks like the endlessly requested option to change one’s PSN nickname may finally be coming:

Secondly, looks like some of the developers working on Sony Vegas Pro lent their aid in improving the PS4 video suite for the upcoming update.

If you’re unfamiliar with Sony Vegas Pro, it’s one of the best non-linear video editing software suites available on the market.

They don't really talk about or announce much until it happens, even the ones that were just posted are leaks of an update that might be less than a week away.

Man in my experience HBOGO is horrible. I get better streaming from Netflix/Hulu than I do with GO which is sad since GO is a hell of a lot more expensive.
