Have had my PS4 since 12/12,and have not had any major issues.

The only thing that has happened,was I got that famous error that is/was going around (can't remember the name) during BF4 single player...other than that? not a single issue.

The only thing I did was a little "preventive maintenance" on the issues I read about with the peeling thumbsticks and picked up some Gel Tabz,console has been great so far.

2K14 looks good... but that's about it. Over reliant on VC, terrible server issues and doesn't play a *great* game of basketball. Think of it like Madden these days. You should already know what you're getting. If you like it, good, pick it up. If not? Don't grab it.

Can't speak to FIFA, haven't played the next-gen version of it. My guess is it falls in the same boat.

Same. The VC for NBA2K ticked me off, so I traded it back in and will not support them further. FIFA on the other hand is amazing and well worth a pick up if you are a soccer fan. Gameplay took the leap I was hoping for over last gen with it.

Can't comment on NBA 2K14 but Fifa 14 is well worth the purchase. Haven't played it as much since Titanfall released but it's easily been my most played game on next gen.

Single player 2k is okay at this point it's discounted. It's not utter garbage bit def. Not the best ever.


I think I all, Z, a lot of these games were either rushed out or are ports. That's most likely why you've been hearing what you hear.

NBA 2k14 graphically speaking is awesome. Playability...its great. The only thing that destroyed this game for me is VC, VC everywhere. I played heavily in MyCareer...i dont mind the drama #1 in shooting etc. You have to be "the guy" and cant be a support to a star.

The problem for me with 2K was needing VC to do things like set your rotation. That's ridiculous.

I picked it back up again though because it looks good and plays pretty well. I'm going to try season mode since you don't need VC there.

Not sure if true or not,so take it with a grain of salt.....

Today, to this tweet of Tidux, Thuway aka Ahsan Rasheed gave a interesting reply, "If the number you are giving me is true, than it really is game over Xbox One."

Later on Thuway clarfied that he is not talking about sales war between Xbox One and Playstation 4 but Playstation 4 performance boost coming in future.

Thuway clarified: "I don't mean game over in terms of sales. I am talking about power. PS4 performance boost rumor is insane. I find it hard to swallow"

"But if it is true, the Xbox One to PS4 port differences will grow much larger if devs choose to make PS4 versions shine."

Going through the entire conversation it seems like Tidux is hinting towards improvements from ICE team for Playstation 4 and contents Naughty Dog will show at E3 2014.

With all of these devs struggling to get 1080p 60fps on games when the pc as been doing this for years I find all of this technical chest pounding ridiculous

That said they should be making games that look better than last gen. There is no excuse.

If the PC didn't abandoned the sports genre, I would be solely a PC gamer. Unfortunately it has basically done just that, so for me it will always be the inferior system(by use only). I use my gaming rig a lot, but not nearly what I would if it had any sort of sports line-up. With all four major US sports, there is a total of one game - that won't cut it for the sports-gamer

Quick question for you guys. What's the deal with NBA 2K14 and FIFA 14?

I've been following the PS4 releases since the beginning. It seemed like the consensus about those games at launch was that they were great, but now when I read the forums, everyone talks about how they're crap.

Is it a case of a vocal minority picking apart the games, or are they actually deeply flawed once you get beyond the release day hype?

Skip 2k14. Get Fifa and the Show. 2k14 has bugs galore to the point that I only can only play NBA Today games on it at this point.

2k pissed me off. Came home to a place with crappy internet, couldn't continue my MyGM because for some stupid reason you have to be connected to the internet to do it. Lost 25 games of progress.
