any recommendations on a cheap headset? I bought my ps4 for 200 without a headset. It doesn't have to be stereo or anything, just be somewhat durable.

I am satisfied with the mic it came with. I suggest that to be completely honest.

Going to try to reboot my ps4 a little later on when I get home. Not a big deal but a nice feature that I utilized in the past and want to get it working again.

Are you talking about setting up something to download through the app? Mine got stuck one time like that before. I don't remember if I turned my system off or what, but it was fine the next time.

I like it. Online seems the same as ps3. There are parties now but I'm not sure if they work same as xbox. I like my ps4 but the controller is a little different from the ps3. You can stream and record gameplay from your ps4 if that's your thing. You have to have ps plus to.play online but it's cheaper than Xbox live was for me.

I don't think id say it's the same as ps3. It's much improved overall. Party chat is a huge addition. It's the same thing as the xbox feature. The store is much better on the ps4. The activity feed is pretty nice if you like that sort of thing.

In terms of stability and availability it has been rock solid recently. I'd say over the course of the past six months it has been more stable than xbox live.

I've been a harsh critic of their online services in the past but they've done a pretty good job recently.

A few questions for anyone who purchased Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag on PlayStation 3 ...AND... PlayStation 4.

I purchased AC IV and the season pass last year at launch for PS3 and did all the codes and whatnot. I know you need the PS3 AC IV disc to play it on PS4 using that $10 upgrade option but I bought AC IV for PS4 today...

How do I access the season pass for PS4? Nothing seems to work. Is this even possible? or would I have been better off buying AC IV for PS3 and use the $10 upgrade option?

Any help and info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Online on PS4 is worlds better and so much faster than on PS3

Got some questions for you PS4 owners. I'm making the leap in a couple weeks from the Xbox 360.

1. Is the battery pack rechargeable or do I have to buy one separate?

2. I seen from lurking in here a couple times, that the gold headset is a steal. Does it work like turtle beaches? Meaning, can I play my TV sound thru the headset during late night hour gaming sessions when my Lil one is sleep?

3. How long does it take to install and download games?

4. What's some good games to purchase right away excluding black flag and tomb raider?

1 You have to charge the controller itself, so you can use the USB cable or I'd suggest buying a charger like the Energizer one.

2 I've got one ordered so will have to defer for now

3 not too long, the only one I recall that seemed to take forever was nba2k..

4 pure pool, outlast, resogun, need for speed rivals, the show, madden 25 (although new one drops soon of course) FIFA and trine 2 are my recoommendations and what I tend to play the most

One cool thing that most people forget to mention: the party chat is also cross-platform with the PlayStation Vita. I've used it a couple of times, and it works great.

Excited that my 1TB hard drive comes in tomorrow. I plan to start taking more advantage of the PS+ deals and future non-sports titles that catch my eye.

Now if only we can get a firmware update to bring folders back. Not a fan of having to scroll for eons to find a game I hadn't played in a while.

This is a pretty decent headset if your just looking for something on the cheap.



I have the Golds, but I had these before so I was just giving you an inexpensive suggestion.

I think they were like 15-20 bucks, I forget.
