Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Doesn't hurt to try. Only takes a quick check of your current speed in your network settings, do the DNS switch, check again. If it doesn't help, go back to default settings.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. I've usually had pretty good luck with this stuff, but I figured better to get them replaced now than have the sticks totally fall apart after the warranty is up.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Got AC Unity this week. Not overly impressed but it's early. Getting FC4 next week and DA via GameFly. As much as I loved FC2 and FC3 (and I did big time), I may be even more stoked about Dragon Age. It looks terrific. Will probably end up buying it from GameFly. GTAV will be a on my Christmas wish list. :-)
Speaking about upgrading HDs, I am ready. I would like to go with a 2TB drive. Is there a consensus on which drive is best and is there online instructions (preferably video) for how to do that actual swapping out? I would appreciate any info.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I had that error msg the other day when i met a couple of guys on 2K, we got into a party chat and i could hear them both and they heard me, but as we were splitting uo to hop offline I had a notification pop up about some NAT issue causing chat issues even thiugh things were fine until then.I've been experiencing NAT-related party errors since the latest software update. It only happens when attempting to party chat with someone I play/chat with fairly often. I cannot hear me if he invites me to a party. He can only hear me if I invite him.
Recently, a stranger came into one of my public parties and it immediately showed a PSN notification saying that I wouldn't be able to hear that user because of a NAT issue. In this case, I don't believe anyone in the party heard that person. I wonder if this is what is happening when my friend says he cannot hear me. I'm positive it isn't my mic--again this problem only occurs with one friend and I've tested with more than one mic (all of which work when talking to others).
Has anyone here had this experience? If so, any clue how to fix it?Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Ran into a really weird problem tonight and hopefully someone knows what to do. I have Black Flag on PS3 and did the digital upgrade and have been playing it daily, played it earlier today in fact. I try and boot it up and it suddenly won't play telling me that "cannot use the content. Your licenses are being verified. Please try again later." What the hell is this exactly? I'm at the point where gaming is becoming a giant pain in the *** and it's extremely frustrating to come home from work and not be able to play a game with no idea why. Any help would be great.Comment

I haven't had that, but I've read about similar things. You could try Settings>PSN>Restore Licenses. Doesn't explain why you got that notice, but could fix it by refreshing the license.Ran into a really weird problem tonight and hopefully someone knows what to do. Aside from that...restart the console? I'm sure you did that though.Comment

Go to your settings, PSN and activate your console as primary. Afterwards, go back to psn settings and restore licenses.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Thanks for the advice guys. Whats weird is I went to the game itself (where you'd typically click to start the game), pressed start to see my options and thought about deleting it, changed my mind and exited back out and suddenly it was unlocked. Have no idea why it happened but thankfully it didnt take too terribly long to get it working again.Comment
