I understand that, but again that really has nothing to do with leaving the disc in the system. It just happened to crap out. I understand being better safe than sorry though but it's really nothing to worry about.

I don't worry at all about it. I don't have any PS4 Game Discs.

Either way, most systems provide a way to manually get a disc out. PS4 supports this as well.

Wut? I never have ever had an issue with a disk being in the system.

I leave my discs in too no issues except one time when I the rblod on my PS3 and couldn't get cod waw out I was highly stressed as I was super addicted to that game.

I got it out eventually with a quick start and eject ninja move. Lol

Changing the subject, thanks to whomever posted the Google DNS thing, upped my speeds 3 fold! No problem with lag when my kids are watching Netflix now. Huge save.

They can't when I eject the disc before I power down the console.

My Fallout 3 was stuck after I turned it off.

I've never had any problems ejecting before I powered down the console.

Do what you want though. I'm sick of talking about this lol.

It's fine, I know what you're saying. I had Rise of the Planet of the Apes stuck in my PS3 for months because of the YLOD. I actually just addressed that yesterday (see my post in this thread). I didn't expect that happening, but it's only just a little bit more for the Sony guys or whatever to fix it. You should've seen what happened when my first PS3 disc tray got screwed up, though. I had to do quite a bit to get my disc out, whether or not the device was powered on beforehand.

Anyway, my only question was regarding what it has to do with the PS4 2.00 update, as the two don't seem related. Furthermore, I'm just wondering what the hell the update did to cause this when a disc is in. It's like the PS4 perhaps stalls checking that drive or something, I'm not sure. Either way, your warning didn't seem to be a direct response to that, which is why most of us are curious.

I just wouldn't leave a disc in after I powered down. ESPECIALLY with all the firmware trouble lately. That's all I was saying. Carry on.

I just picked up the Sony Gold Wireless (white) and can't tell you how pleased I am. The quality of sound you get adds a new dynamic to every game. On top of that the comfort level of these things are just top notch. You don't even realize they're there. Extremely happy with the purchase and just wanted to pass it along. Good day.
Agreed. I have the black ones and use them for my PS4, Vita and if I want to listen to something on my phone while I'm gaming.

I definitely recommend these to everyone!

Make sure your wearing them right. Controls on the left. I put them on backwards once and everybody said I was very faint.

Also there is a bit of calibration to do as far as the sound levels go. I couldn't hear people at first, but they could hear me. You have to find the right mix of chat/game sound in order to hear properly.

Not many people know this but there's a sound/chat button on the left front cup. If you press down on the button it makes the chat louder while pressing up makes the sound of the game louder. For the longest time I thought it was like a volume bar for chat but it isn't.
