All done. It was a piece of cake. Took maybe 45 minutes with me being super cautious. If I can do this, virtually anyone can. Later I will come back and link to the YouTube video I used to help me through the process.

Yeah I've done it three times now..it's super easy. The only tricky part is if you want to format your old disk to use on an Xbox one or pc...

Interesting note - if you have a hard drive in one PS4 and simply take it out and put it in a new PS4 you have to reformat it and reinstall everything.

When I got the new white PS4 I moved the old 1.5tb hard drive from the black launch PS4 to the new white one. The white machine recognized it as a new hard drive and required reinstalling the firmware. I figured I'd just put it in the white ps4 and that'd be it but no dice.

Just something to be thinking about if you plan to move a drive from one PS4 to another.

Sure. Here's the video I used, BTW. Just make sure to have everything backed up. As I mentioned earlier, I backed mine up to Cloud and a memory stick.

And don't forget to backup any movies or pictures too, I forgot those each time I did it but most of em I had uploaded to Facebook so no big deal..

Far Cry 4 - Sequel
Little Big Planet 3 - Sequel

I'm still looking for some big "new" games. Destiny and Watch Dogs have really been it so far, and I haven't played either one.

I do get what you're saying though. That was the biggest single release day I can remember for quite some time.

Dragon Age: Inquisition.

Honestly, I don't mind the sequels so much especially premiering on these consoles. To me that is more of where the industry is at than anything. If Batman and The Witcher came out yesterday I'd be saying the same thing and both of those are sequels.

I'm still looking forward to The Order so there's that.

I'm ignoring the upcoming games with the hope they surprise/sneak up on me like Dragon Age did. Just not interested in arguments like good/bad games will be because we know they're 30FPS (like both Bloodborne and The Order).

Probably pony up for tickets to the Playstation Experience in a couple weeks and see for myself.

My most anticipated games remain the new Rainbow 6 and The Division. Big co-op guy.

I'm not sure I made a wise decision because I'll probably waste more time trying to decide which game to play between GTAV, FC4, LBP3, and NBA 2K15 than actually playing.

I started feeling like that last night. Swore I wasn't opening the disk games except for DA... that didn't happen.

Ended up playing all yesterday.

My status is:
DA first and foremost but when I need a break for some pure platform fun I'll go into LBP (Which us really fun btw )
After I get done with DA I'll go deep into FC4.
GTA will mix in here and there but not a priority.

I popped them all in just to get the installs and updates over with.

I'll probably play and wear out FC4 first and foremost with some GTAV throw in for some urban enjoyment.

Depends on if you want an RPG or a game where you can shoot everything that moves with a bunch of craziness going on. I myself opted for Dragon Age because I need some RPG in my life.
