Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Game scares me. Tried the demo and the control scheme seemed overwhelming. As a casual fan I was up for some old fashioned button mashing and got what seemed more like a simulation. I think you need to understand mma techniques to really take advantage. But that's just me. Still on the fence about snagging it but that's my hang up.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Anyone else have some inconsistency between the projected file size in the store and what it actually turns out to be ? Is there something I'm missing ?
I noticed it recently when I had to re-download GTA V because I'm an idiot. I know it says 40+gb, but the download was a lot less than that.
Then I noticed it again today when I purchased WWE 2K15. The store says 20+gb and the download turned into 4.30 and a small update file.
I'm all about quicker downloads, but it is a little puzzling. That's why I've always shied away from downloading games, but after a few quick downloads recently I may continue doing it.Comment

I went ahead and took the plunge on UFC, so I'd anticipate only being able to choose from a handful of fighters until the game fully downloads (which, for me, will be a while on a 10 Mb down connection). But it will allow me to play around with the game much sooner than if I had to wait out the whole download.
Edit: Yeah, see it's telling me I'm downloading a 2.71 GB file for UFC, but I know the full game is much larger than that. This is only what I'll need to start up the game.Comment

It does have a massive learning curve. I haven't even touched learning the ground game yet, but if you want to get some *** whoop on the cpu with a slugfest and here joe Rogan crazy with his "just like that" noise than its well worth it. I paid 30 and am over happily with it knowing I'm going to get a ton of playtime out of it.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
That's more than likely because it's only downloading the minimum needed to start up the game. While it continues downloading it allows you to do quick games with limitations. For The Show 14 for example I could only play a Red Sox - Tigers matchup while the game installed fully from disc, for Watch Dogs I could only do the first mission and maybe some free roam. Both of those were disc installations so they went much faster than fully downloading a digital game from the store.

That does make perfect sense, thanks. I just fired up WWE and only have access to a few things.
It would be nice to see the download progress somewhere. I checked my PS menu and couldn't find anything at all.Comment

I thought it was a holiday bundle, but Amazon has it literally listed as 'Black Friday Bundle' so that doesn't appear to be the case.Comment

I was sort of thinking that way, but wasn't sure. I couldn't find d/l progress.

It's not something that's standardized, and it probably should be.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I loved the themes for ps3. How long do you think it will be before we start to get a lot more ps4 themes? I don't really remember how long it took for ps3 to have a lot of themes to chose form.Comment

Just saw that KH 2.5 is out next week. Totally forgot about it. Wish it was coming out on PS4 as I want it for my KH collection but don't really want to be buying PS3 games at this point.Comment
