Yep messages are a problem with me on the PS4. I try to read a message that is sent to me but the icon up in the right corner just spins then will stop after a few minutes. No message appears afterwards. *Also messages are failing to send on my end. Took a few tries to send one but don't know if the person on the other end can see it.

It typically takes a few minutes for me to be able to read the message that was sent to me. Very frustrating.

Today someone sent me a message but I was unable to see it. Even after I sat there for a few minutes the icon eventually stopped spinning still with no message appearing. I turned my PS4 off then back on again to see if it would finally appear still nothing. Like you said very frustrating.

Since installing mt 2TB hard drive, my PS4 has been acting strange. It occasionally lets out a loud beep while it is being played (game only, as far as I can tell, no movies so far and the only game I have been playing is disc version of Dragon Age: Inquisition.) Also, during some of the longer cut scenes in Dragon Age (such as the romance scenes), the cut scenes hang up for a long time and then skip parts of the scenes. Pretty annoying.

I can't say for sure this is caused by the new HD but it is a pretty big coincidence if not.

I would like sony to put out an official external or internal harddrive for the PS4. I'm afraid to use unoffical hardrives as you never know what issues may arise especially when firmwares are released.

The BC PS3's. 1) How can you tell if it's a BC console? 2) Is it only BC to PS2?

60GB, 20GB and some 80GB consoles are backwards compatible. You can look up the model number.

They work for both PS1 and PS2 games.

All PS1 games work, PS2 games had limited compatibility but work for the most part.

If they did sports one then I'd get it but not for anything else.

Can't you just remove the existing faceplate and customize it?

Vinyl wrap, paint, airbrush, stickers, etc.

I may do this myself now that I think about it. Make a custom powder blue Chargers faceplate.
