Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
This will still be difficult, though. If your 2 seam fastball is set to X and your curveball is set to Triangle, you will be continually pressing X and wondering why you're throwing curveballs. You will be traversing through menus and accidentally doing... well, I don't know what Triangle does in the menus, actually.
Anyway, the point is that is very difficult to do, but we'll see how it really works. As I said, games should have these options always anyway.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Anyone playing Helldivers? Intense, deceptively deep PSN game that is cross-platform. Can go local or PSN multiplayer or go it alone. Gets pretty difficult as you go along.
Solid title and good for quick gaming sessions.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Powers is pretty good so far, it borrows from a lot of other stories, but not too egregiously. It's obviously fairly low budget, and it shows in the acting, but it really shows in the special effects. Some things are decent, most is passable, but some is just hilariously bad. In particular the warden of the prison looks like mediocre cosplay. Something else that was pretty awful, and it's confusing as to why, were the faked pictures in retro girl's house.
All told I'm definitely going to keep watching and am really interested to see where this goes. Oh, and hopefully Eddie Izzard puts on some damn clothes.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
In addition to the Uncharted delay, it appears Playstation Vue is delayed also, will be out nationwide by the end of this year (previously was Q1).
There's a WSJ piece on it today, but I can't link to it because of the paywall.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Not happy about the Uncharted 4 delay. UGH. Now, there's no exclusives coming out at all at the end of the year unless something gets delayed until later this year or something new gets announced.
I'm hoping for the rumored Uncharted Collection to become a reality. That would somewhat make up for it.
If Naughty Dog working on and releasing The Last of Us Remastered is a reason for the cause of this delay, they shouldn't have bothered with that game. In fact, waiting until the eventual sequel is close would have been a better time to release Remastered. Just a theory.
Must admit that Xbox One's exclusives look better at the end of 2015. Sad part is that I don't have any interest in the majority of them. LOL.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Sony's internet TV service, PlayStation Vue, will come out of beta and launch commercially in three major cities within the next two weeks. The Wall Street Journal reports that Sony will offer Vue in New York City, Chicago, and Philadelphia to start — cities where invited testers have already been using the service for months. PlayStation Vue runs on Sony's PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 consoles. The goal is to roll out Vue nationwide by the end of 2015, Sony's Andrew House said in an interview with the Journal.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Toukiden: The Age of Demons for PS Vita was a game released for the Vita about this time last year. Sounds like they updated with new features, characters, monsters, missions which is now Toukiden: Kiwami.

New Story
Kiwami takes place three months after the battle to prevent another Awakening. The village of Utakata enjoys an uneasy peace. However, that peace is suddenly rendered asunder. Hitherto unknown Oni appear from the north, ripping the defenses of the Midlands to shreds.
Above you can watch the “almost” 6 minute animation to show you a brief story for Kiwami. Note: this animation serves as an introduction to the world of Toukiden: Kiwami and does not constitute part of the game.
Oh, and one last thing: carry across save data from Toukiden: The Age of Demons! Yes, your save data including weapons, armor, Mitama, and progress levels, can be carried across to Toukiden: Kiwami.
Here is actual gameplay if interested. However, these are taken from Vita gameplay for Toukiden: The Age of Demons.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Thanks Picci! I picked up the Vita version today. Not sure when I will have time to play it but it has lots of fans out there. Unless reviews are horrible, I may just take a flier on the PS4 version as well. Supposed to be a lot like the Monster Hunter series.
