Well if the slim is like 250-300 and the NEO is like 400-450 some people may want because they want the more powerful systems and maybe even more so if it is next year because then you are not going to have to pick between 2 different Sony systems at the same time. Well I am not sure how many games I have beaten this gen but so far Wii u has a lot more good games then either wii u or ps4. Well I understand what you are saying about showing a game to early and yeah it is better to show it later because if a game is shown like a year before it comes out that is easier then having to want like 3 years and if the game is very close when shown even if it gets pushed back it is more likely it is going to be just a short push back. Interesting about Tomb Raider the thing that looked cool in the newer one is that it looks like there is a lot of Snow areas in the game.

It appears that the slim is going to be a cheaper replacement for the base PS4 as the base PS4 is sold out in Japan and is no longer being manufactured. This makes a lot more sense now. To me, it was weird having the base, slim and then Neo all at the same time. Microsoft is a different situation though. First, the slim and Scorpio is 15 months apart and second, Microsoft doesn't have anything to lose at this point. Sony does.

Wii U had better games until 2015. Bloodborne and especially The Witcher 3 ended that for Wii U. Now, it's not even close. PS4/Xbox One easily blows away Wii U. Everyone hates it when a game gets delayed. I was pissed when Horizon got delayed but im hoping that the delay makes it a classic. My number one wish for the rest of this gen is for publishers to following Fallout 4 and Watch Dogs 2. Announcement, trailer, gameplay video, game is in your hands in six months.

ROTTR has a few snowy areas. One thing that's awesome is when you kill an enemy in the snow, he eventually sinks and gets buried by the snow. Such an awesome detail. October is going to be awesome!!!

Why the hell would you ever think that the base would stick around when the slim comes into play?

The point of slims, is to offer a cheaper, more cost effective product for the mainstream casual masses (your 'hardcore' already jumped in). You phase out the older, more power/cost hungry larger fab, and introduce a slimmer, cheaper, model.

It has always been this way.

Who gave you this 'speculation degree'?

Bastion is a really good game. For $5, it's a steal. Fun mechanics, unique narration.

Nice! I picked up Geometry Wars 3 for the PS4, and Söldner-X, and Söldner-X 2 for the PS3/Vita (about $2 each for some 'old school' SHMUP action). Total only $9 and some change.

I had Bastion from the past... I need to start playing it soon.

Noticed that...

UPDATE, 7.30pm: Upon taking legal advice, we have removed the video previously referenced in this article.

A lot are speculating it was a stolen item, due to the area of town it was purchased in. So they probably erred on the side of caution, due to UK law of "fell off a lorry" excuses not applying, lol.

And hopefully it will open PS Plus up to even better deals. Even though the regular price right now is $50, it's pretty hard to find a deal lower than $40, but with Live, which is priced at $60, it's really easy to find it for around $35. Hopefully enough people will pay the full price so that Sony will be fine with bigger discounts for those of us that are always on the lookout for deals.
