Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Ugh I'm conflicted on the Pro. I have the PSVR so that makes me want to get it. I also have a non HDR 4K tv so I'll at least see some benefits graphically but it has no 4K player. I might wait until Christmas.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I'm hyped too. Less than three weeks to go!!! I already have Battlefield 1 and will be getting Titanfall 2 and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare in the next two Fridays. Once those three games are finished, onto Watch Dogs 2, Final Fantasy XV, Mafia III and Rise of the Tomb Raider. It's going to be a stacked three months to end 2016 for me.Comment

Unless you can do an HDD transfer/swap without having to reformat it, you won't be able to get the games back without having to re-download and/or reinstall them.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

On the positive side, there's only two full digital games that I'll have to download again - The Witcher III, it's expansions and The Last of Us Remastered. All my other digital games are Indies and PSN games.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
The FAQ I read said you could transfer your games, saves, settings, etc through a Ethernet cable.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
How does that work exactly? Does the Ethernet cable hookup from one PS4 to the other PS4? I don't see how connecting to the internet will transfer the games over unless they're just being smartasses and we have to download them again. A few more weeks to go and we'll know for sure.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Not that I ever did the feature, but from what I remember it did (this was either when the Slim or Super Slim came out), it kind of acted like a "cut and paste" rather than a "copy and paste."
You would upload your data temporarily to this cloud thing, and then you could place it into the new device and HDD. It would be gone from both your original device and the cloud as well.
Maybe I am misremembering. However, because it's through Ethernet, I wonder if things have to "re-download" as well or not.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Yeah I had one ps3 die on me YLOD and got a new one but had no idea how to back any thing up back then so I lost ever thing and out side of getting a new one after the YLOD I never had a different ps3 to try it with or anything. So I really don't know how it works I just remember hearing you could do this kind of thing with ps3 to.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I caved and preorded the PS Pro. I had some Amazon money so it will only cost me $180. I'll probably move my current PS4 into the bedroom.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Have they said if MP games like Battlefield 1 will look better and have a stable framerate on the Pro? I know it can't have a better framerate than the standard PS4 but just having it stable shouldn't be a unfair advantage.
Also is there anyway to transfer all of my games over to the Pro or will I have to re-download all of them?Comment
