It's asking about the PS4 pro. So it fits right in with the PlayStation talk.

Can't wait to try boost mode on BF4, servers still decent.

From what I've read that game seems to be one of the most improved with boost mode. Sounds like substantial frame rate improvement from one article I read. Other games much more marginal but any boost is good in my eyes

Horizon is already "boosted." Pro Mode enabled games aren't affected by boost mode. Boost mode just gives games that don't have Pro Modes and Pro Patches the benefit of the Pro's clock speed upgrades for more stable frame rates and potentially higher frame rates, and potentially faster load times

I read that Bloodborne maintains 30fps more consistently with boost but still has frame pacing issues, unfortunately

Curious to see if games like Madden feel smoother at all

Keeping my fingers crossed they've tweaked the notifications since the last beta. Just give us the option to clear them all.

Yes! Time to go pick up an external drive; no more having to choose which games to keep or delete off my internal HDD.

I think Madden's already pretty well optimized (save for that training mode extreme slowdown which is EA's problem to patch, not Sony's). Might see some shorter loads and faster menus but I think the gameplay was already 60 FPS. Between-play stuff was often around 30 but I doubt we'll see much of an improvement there.

I think most "cutscenes" in sports games still aren't going to go above 30, even The Show's. But in the case of the Show, there are definitely some scenes that could use a boost to even get TO 30. The walkoff scenes, for example - when that many players gather on the field the framerate goes to hell on the regular PS4 (and the PS3 in the last generation, for that matter).

4.5 is out, but I'm not sure it's pushing automatically yet. You can download it manually from the PS4 settings menu.

                          339.9 MB.

Ok so quick question. I have the 1TB hd from the pro when I got it hooked it up USB and it says PS4 doesn't recognize it. Is there something I can do so I can add another TB for games?
