Minecraft is one the biggest games in the world. It's a game that you make an exception for. PS4 players, as of now, will be missing out on a hugely compelling suite of features that the Better Together update is bringing.

Yep. This is how it doesn't benefit them. Because people will buy a system for Minecraft. Xbox proved that last Christmas. My son is 6 and knows about Realms. He knows that PS4 won't have Realms but Switch, XB1, PC, and mobile will. Sony needs to be "4 the gamer" and rethink this strategy.

I also don't buy the whole it's not good for their bottom line. The same could be said for Microsoft. They literally don't have to put Minecraft on anything else other than their products. Certainly don't have to let Nintendo in on multiplayer but they are. I look at that immediately and think both want me to enjoy gaming. Where Sony is being closed minded. First EA Access, then mods For Bethesda games and now this.

I switched over to a new account and In order to play any games you got with ps plus you have to have the original account active with ps plus. So I have to have my original account active on ps plus to play rocket league on my other account. Just something to be aware of. But you don't need to pay for ps plus on the new one.

Looks promising. I gotta get back into horizon and finish it so I can move on to the DLC.

Yeah I need to beat it still my self been playing Zelda still and a few times played horizon only to then be back into play Zelda. Hard to really know if that 20 is good or to much or what though because we don't really know like how long it is going to be.

Sony apparently says only their network is safe for children , is why they won't connect to the rest of the Minecraft universe.

For the children, guys.

Was that their reason for refusing connection to Rocket League, too? Looks like Nintendo is now in on cross play with PC and Microsoft for that title, too.

I've played it but honestly **** minecraft. I don't care how big it is. Good for Sony heh. What daniel said about what they should had said vs "for kids" is true.

For whatever reason, Sony has a chill towards Microsoft that sinks deep. Sony has cross-play. Many of us cross-play against pc players everyday in some of our games. It boosts the game ecosystems and creates lots of player population. But Sony knows they have the market. And that market report goes to corporate in helping to evaluate projected revenues. Why shrink that market and your previous net and gains report by improving the gaming ecosystems for the competitor, and a market share? One of the biggest problems for maintaining successful game duration is the loss of player participation. You lose the players the game dies.

I wouldn't be surprise to see if they test out the base's reaction and take steps to include Minecraft if its received poorly about their decision. That could go either way surprisingly.

Come on fellows. Microsoft was and is a global leader (other than gaming) with other systems and apps all over the world. You don't think in years past they haven't flustered a few feathers on the way? LOL
