Not sure if this is everything but you'll lose all your Trophies, PSN friends (but you can just add them again obviously), and all your online saves for games. I think you can just transfer over your offline stuff to play on your new account but stuff like NBA 2K's MyPlayer/MyTeam stuff won't transfer over.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I did it awhile ago and I don't regret it. With a lot of Sports games coming to a close right now and the new ones on the horizon (if you play Sports games) it's a good time to do it.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
SONY: We're not allowing cross play simply because it benefits our competitors a hell more than it does us and business wise, no reason for us to do this. As the global market leader, we're in control and will proceed as we see fit. Also, if the roles were reversed and Microsoft or Nintendo were us right now, they would be doing the exact same thing.
This is what I wish Sony would say. At least be honest. It would be a bad response but at least I would respect them more for saying it straight out.Comment

Gotta make up BS excuses like "for the children" and "nobody wants to play those games" to keep their "for the gamers" look going.Comment

For once, I would like one of these "suits" to just come out and say the truth -

It really makes no sense period. All you can do is keep saying if the roles were reversed blah blah blah, I've seen it at least 3-4 times in multiple threads. We don't know what the other companies would do, maybe they would refuse and maybe they wouldn't.
It's a bad look for Sony and a huge knock on their "for the gamers" motto, it's undeniable.Fino Alla Fine

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Minecraft is one the biggest games in the world. It's a game that you make an exception for. PS4 players, as of now, will be missing out on a hugely compelling suite of features that the Better Together update is bringing.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I wouldn't be hesitant to say it's the biggest singular game in the world. It's played by everyone from little 3/4 year old kids to grandparents playing with their kids. I personally don't play it, never will it's not my cup of tea at all. But I see the appeal behind it. It's a video game of Lego's.

Never really played crash before but I am going to get the remaster when it comes out. Was just watching some of Sony's E3 coverage on it and the difference between it and the old ones looks amazing and the game just looks really fun.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
My personal opinion on the matter;
For whatever reason, Sony has a chill towards Microsoft that sinks deep. Sony has cross-play. Many of us cross-play against pc players everyday in some of our games. It boosts the game ecosystems and creates lots of player population. But Sony knows they have the market. And that market report goes to corporate in helping to evaluate projected revenues. Why shrink that market and your previous net and gains report by improving the gaming ecosystems for the competitor, and a market share? One of the biggest problems for maintaining successful game duration is the loss of player participation. You lose the players the game dies.
I wouldn't be surprise to see if they test out the base's reaction and take steps to include Minecraft if its received poorly about their decision. That could go either way surprisingly.
Come on fellows. Microsoft was and is a global leader (other than gaming) with other systems and apps all over the world. You don't think in years past they haven't flustered a few feathers on the way? LOL
