Well we were watching Wonder Woman when it was going on so when I got home I watched all of the trailers in 4K on my TV independently so I can't really say about the presentation by Sony.

Wasn't impressed with much last night. Seemed like most stuff fell flat crowd wise too. That opened world zombie game looked good but it was pretty much horizon zero dawn with a new skin. I lost some hype for spider man too. Wasn't expecting it to be a carbon copy of the arkham games with insomniac developing it.

Really? Wow. Great 8.5/10 show for me. Only major negative is no release dates but I understand why. How is Days Gone Horizon but with a different skin? I can see it being compared to The Last of Us but not Horizon.

Spider Man looked great. The gameplay and fighting mechanics are going to be excellent. Copying Arkham might not be ideal but what else could they really do? If they try something new, it may not work and hurt the game. After seeing the gameplay, im definitely buying day one and I don't give two craps about Spider Man but damn, the game is going to be good.

Presentation wasn't as good as last year but that's also because more games debuted last year where as this year was mostly and mainly just follow ups. The only part that dragged for me was PSVR which I don't care about at all. Other than that, I got what I was expecting and hoping. More gameplay videos of all the exclusives and a few multi-platform games that im buying day one. Only true negative is that every game is 2018 or beyond and while that's disappointing, I understand why Sony is doing that as they have no reason whatsoever to rush any of their games to market.

How is Days Gone Horizon but with a different skin? I can see it being compared to The Last of Us but not Horizon.

Because that's what I was immediately reminded of watching the gameplay. It does have zombies like last of us though.

I don't get caught up in the who won the press conferences, how was the crowd, presentation aspect of E3. I only care about the games themselves and I was impressed by what I saw.

Maybe impressed isn't the right word. I was excited by what I saw:

Knack 2
Spider Man
God of War
Call of Duty
Shadow of Colossus remake

I never once thought Horizon going back to last year but okay. TLOU absolutely.

This 100%. 70% of the games shown are day one buys for me.

I mean, at the end of the day it doesn't really matter since we are all consumers and we can all have and form our own opinions.

I personally feel like Nintendo had the best E3 showing but that's just me.

I want them all to succeed because it's good for us as gamers and it's healthy for competition. As I get older and especially now taking care of my son full time, I have less and less time to game. I want to enjoy it and play whatever I want and not worry as much about all the trivial stuff.

I'm sure most of you feel the same way so in my opinion, it's never been a better time to be a gamer.

I haven't look at any of Nintendo's E3 stuff. What should I look for?

Well it depends on what you like, for me Pokemon was the biggest thing.

New Mario Odyssey looks great, Zelda DLC looks really nice, new Kirby coming out, Xenoblade 2, Metroid Prime, Splatoon 2, Rocket League which is old but cool and it will have some exclusive cars and Mario/Luigi Hat Flags, etc.

It's just a different vibe from the other 2 consoles and the ability to take it anywhere really appeals to me.

So excited for Days Gone, Detroit, and Spider Man! Not to mention Death Stranding, Last of Us 2, Uncharted Lost Legacy, Red Dead Redemption 2, COD WW2, and the list goes on. Too bad I have money to spend on games NOW! lol
