Man, it is Black Friday. The day where mothers trample other mothers for a fuzzy, talking bear. Where fights erupt over a doll. When people are held at knife point to restrain them from getting the last electronic of the day.

If you wanna plop down in the middle of that mess and advertise you have a PS4 and/or $900 in your pocket then more power to ya.

Obviously any attempt to do so wouldn't be as bold. And obviously I'm aware of what happens on Black Friday. I never said I was going to do it, I simply asked if anyone had exercised the thought. My question was more along the lines of, "Has anyone thought about what they could really get for their system and how easy it would be?" I did that by using a situation that would likely garner the most attention. That's when people started talking about getting robbed and etc. It was never about Parkway Packing, it was about whether or not anybody had thought about just how desperate people would be to pay for the system.

I do find it a bit interesting that so many would be concerned about a robbery. I'm not ruling the possibility out but I do think the reality is being a bit exaggerated. Any time I've ever done resell on Black Friday or a Craiglist sell on any day, it's always done in an active environment with security cameras and either security or police patrol. People are ballsy, I'll give you that. But the likelihood of somebody trying to steal something in a parking lot with hundreds of witnesses walking around, security cameras and security/police patrol isn't THAT high. The person selling the console wouldn't be asking them to meet them in a dark alleyway behind an abandoned store. The transaction would take place in a much safer environment with tons of eyes watching. Not to mention, anyone with half a brain knows that you don't make an in-person sell without at least one or two other people with you. So while I'm not saying a robbery couldn't happen, I'm saying it is pretty unlikely.

Sounds like you are safe up there in the mountains. However the rest of us live in thugville where just going to the grocery store on a nice sunny day is a challenge not to get car jacked with your groceries in it. Am I the only who goes armed to chuck e cheese?

I've seen someone sell and empty pc box for 200$ swearing it had a labtop in it lol. People will try anything.

IMO I wouldn't sell a PS4 out of the trunk at my local walmart, or any walmart for that matter. I try and not put myself in any position that could possibly jeopardize my well being. With that said, I hate to say it but I really think this thread is heading in the direction of derailment.

Lol. I live in Texas, not many mountains. Lots of hills though! Like I said, I was just using an example of a situation, not so much suggesting that people do it. I should have worded my initial post better than I did. Sorry to hear about the condition of your local Chuck E Cheese though. That's just tragic (No Sarcasm).

I think the new fad has become selling fake event tickets. We've had two instances down here in just the last few months in which people were duped into buying fake tickets. I couldn't imagine how much I'd be ticked to be two steps away from walking into Cowboy Stadium only to find out I just dropped $300 on fake tickets. If I'm going to pay $300 to watch my team lose, I want to watch them do it in person.

Back on topic, have there been any PS4 exclusives that you are just dying to get? As far as exclusives go, I can't think of any that I'm really looking forward too. Maybe Killzone because I liked the first game but even that I'll probably wait until I can pick up a used copy.

Launch? The freebies piqued by interest before I knew they were free, but DriveClub should be interesting just to test out.

The Order 1886 and Deep Down are what I'm really looking forward to, though.

The only one I am looking forward to is MLB the Show. Which is why I am waiting till it releases to get my PS4. Nothing else grabs my attention.

None that have been announced yet. Launch titles are usually forgettable.

I'll pick up Gran Turismo when it comes out for my car porn fix, though GT has not been as good as Forza since Forza hit.

I'm 100% positive the JRPG genre will be ruled by Sony yet again, so that's where most of my exclusive purchases will be.

Also when Naughty Dog (Uncharted, Last of Us), SCE Santa Monica (God of War) and Quantic Dream (Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls) come out with their exclusives I'm sure I'll probably purchase them.

Actually I'm really looking forward to Quantic Dream's "The Dark Sorcerer" if indeed that is their first next-gen game.

I'll download DriveClub, just because it's free. I'll do the same for War Thunder when it comes out. I'm definitely going to pick up The Order 1886. I think Planetside 2 will be a PC/PS4 exclusive when it comes out and I'm interested in that one. Wolfenstein: The New Order looks interesting but I'm not sure if it's a PS4 exclusive or not. I like The Crew and I think it's a PS4 Exclusive. But DriveClub is the only one out of all of those that will be Launch.
