I thought the US wasn't getting Vita TV though.

The press conference is in the long neogaf thread devoted to the Vita TV I linked a page or so back. For the here & now it's slated for Japan only I believe.

But somewhere in that uber long thread I linked someone mentions it being brought out here as well. Not immediately, but soon.

Yeah, I would be shocked if the V-TV wasn't released by the end of next year here.

I would agree...I think it's more exclusive to Japan right now to throw them a bone since they're not getting PS4 right away. Plus it'll sell better in US afteR PS4 is released. They'll have a major selling point to key on.

Okay. I'm confused.

What is the difference with the Vita remote play and Vita TV?

If I can use my vita anywhere and play my ps4 using the handheld device, why would I need vita tv?

VitaTV is a Vita without a screen to hook up to your TV and use a DS3.

Vita remote play is playing a ps3/4 game over a network on a Vita or a VitaTV.

Sony holding back stock to ensure PS4 are readily available throughout holiday season. Bad news for guys like myself who planned on retiring after a few high dollar flips. Haha.

This is great though. With the demand already high, Sony could be in for a pretty substantial install base from the jump if they keep supply levels up.

I wonder if you can import the vita tv from sites like play asia to the US and will it work here. That is an option for those looking to get their hands on one around the launch of the PS4.

Just battlefield for me. The free ps plus games offer a good enough variety so it'll probably be the only next gen game I get infamous. Resogun, war thunder, outlast, driveclub and battlefield should get me through
