According to an analyst, the PS4 is set to cost $400 and at launch the PS4 will drop to $199.

That's a possibility but doubt it since (I hope) the screen will add to games etc.. and not "wasted" on beibng used as the Start/Select Buttons..
For both the 720 and PS4 I think am going to (for the first time ever) wait a while after launch. The only way this changes is if there's a "OMG!! game on release day.
Otherwise I will wait until maybe a special edition one or something like that comes out. Give time for any bugs or issues for the systems to surface.
