which is why i think the t $429 and $529 price is wrong... seems like a random number...

I thought it was a weird number as well when i first saw it but the closer it is to $600, the less likely they'll sell

exactly.. whic his why I would think it would be 400 and 500 if there are two different options...

THis i am not really happy about.

There's no mention of paying for online, so it could be like it is now, where online is free, but you will have to pay for the PS+ and Gaikai features. Current PS+ subscribers become PS World subscribers. There was no way we were going to get some of these rumored features for free.

The source is probably just doing a straight conversion of the rumored Japanese pricing, so $399 and $499 would be more likely in the US.

thats what I hope they mean, I dont want this to become an Xbox live thing where i have to pay to play online for any game

I don't think that should be a surprise if they do though, MS is making way too much money all while Sony offered it for free.

Whatever the cost is, I'm buying. Sony always delivers on their consoles and I have no reason to believe PS4 will be any different. A $500/$600 investment for 7+ years of entertainment is pretty good to me.

Really excited to see what goes down tomorrow. The digital library is really intresting to me, what if sony can put up all past playstation games up there? Maybe some way they can make it so you can prove you alreay own them so you wont have to buy again or something. Also looking at those history of playstation videos sony made really reminded me of how huge playstation 1&2 was for me growing up. Sony's probably using that to build hype but its working.

There just isn't a way to do that and prevent game sharing between consoles/friends without having a retail partner be part of the process taking/marking the discs. Will have to re-buy digital games or they'll have to be part of a service to get accesses to them (or quite possibly both).
