My guess it there won't be a single launch game that will be able to persuade me into jumping this gen until the Show comes out. That's how this gen pannd out and I foresee the same scenario next gen.
I agree. When I say release, I don't mean I'll be outside waiting on line. I just mean I'll get the system around release time. I may not wait a whole year or two. But I'm definitely not buying the console with zero games to play.

I imagine I'll have no problem avoiding the urge to get one ... until March 2014. Which, strangely enough, is when The Show 14 will come out. What a coincidence.

Does anyone know if the event tomorrow will be recorded? I'm in class at the time this goes live, so I was hoping to catch it after I was out.

I'll be spending a lot of time away from home soon. I'm thinking about just buying myself a PS Vita in a few weeks and wait on the PS4 for next year.

It's tough to travel with a console and if I do, I would feel better about taking one of my older consoles (PS3 and 360) instead of a brand new machine I just bought.

Source: The PS4 Will Be Out This November, And You’ll Be Able To Control It With Your Phone

A reliable Kotaku source has informed us that the PlayStation 4, codenamed Orbis, will be out this November in the United States.

Our source—the same reliable source who back in early 2012 told us the codename for Sony's next console and the codename for Microsoft's next console—tells us that there are two models planned for the new machine, and that pricing won't be announced until later this year, possibly around E3. The current plan, our source says, is to release them at $429 and $529, but that could change.
Back in January, we learned about the PS4's new controller, which has a small touchpad in the center, and the fancy new user account system that will allow multiple people to log into one console at the same time.

New information revealed by our source suggests that on top of all that, you'll also be able to control the PS4 remotely from your tablet or smartphone. You'll be able to use a mobile device to chat with your PS4 friends or buy games which are then automatically downloaded to your machine, our source says.

Orbis is also following the path first set by Xbox Live: our source says "most" of the PS4's online features will require a premium subscription to use. Sony's new online service will be called PlayStation World, our source says, replacing PlayStation Plus.
Some other tidbits: our source says that every PS4 will come with a PlayStation Eye; that a new spectating feature will let you watch other friends play games from your console's dashboard, even when you don't own the game they're playing; and that the console will support local network play via Vita.

This is weirdly kinda cool. I don't know how often I'd use it, but this could be a good way to see if you'd like a game your buddy has.

I wonder if perhaps game review sites like IGN would use this feature to show off features in a Live Review.

                    Or maybe Operation Sports?

I am okish with that price, but what would be the difference? more storage space?

also i HIGHLY doubt the price will be $429 that is such a random number... Most of the time the prices are usually $-00 or -50

That 529 model is too much, but knowing Sony they have the affinity of shooting themselves in the head several times over and again.

which is why i think the t $429 and $529 price is wrong... seems like a random number...
