I've been staring at a "Please wait..." screen for a while now. I press Circle and I just hear a noise.

Uh oh...

If I get stuck at this in 45 minutes I'll probably fall asleep waiting.

Seems very clear that the PSN servers are on the fritz, so, whatever. As long as I don't have to have a PSN to start a MYCareer, I'm golden. I'll use some other currency or whatever I gotta do.

I took a risk, after waiting for 20 minutes at a "Please wait..." screen, and turned the system off via the controller. It's been smooth sailing since.

Anyone know why, when playing FIFA, my controller glowed red instead of the normal blue? Put in Killzone and it is back to blue...
