Thanks Stormyhog.

No problem I never had a PS+ subscription before but knew it was required for online play on PS4 so I got it recently. It great how one subscription is used for both PS3 and PS4 as I'll still be playing my PS3 quite a bit.

I would just do what Dre said man, reformat your system and see if that solves the problem. It took me 2 hours when I got my system today to even get it up and running on my network, it was a royal PITA.

So far I have played Madden and Killzone. Madden is what I expected, a more visually appealing version than CG with those extra little improvements. All the jaggies and AA is gone, so that makes me a happy camper.

Killzone is awesome looking from a graphical standpoint and I feel like I am playing the game on my PC it is that good visually. I am only on Chapter 2 and like what they have done so far, but I do miss the squad based part of the first three games it really added to the atmosphere of a war.

I still have AC4 to get to and I was considering picking up one more title this weekend, but not sure yet. I was thinking either NFS or NBA2K.

Is that the same thing as going to the safe mode and choosing initializing system with update? I had to download the 880 mb 1.50 onto a flash drive to do that option.

Uh oh, bro is glued on my BF4 right now....might need to fight him to get him to put the controller down.

I've tried twice and they just look up my order number and say it didn't come with a controller.... too bad. LOL

What got them to issue me a credit was THE EMAIL that I requested when I talked to them in regards to this a few weeks back as proof. They found the email that they sent me in there records.

THE EMAIL SAVED ME!!!! Or should I say made me $60

I can't get into BF4. Keeps telling me I have to be signed in to PSN and EA servers?? I can get into the Store so shouldn't I be signed in???

Anyone can help a guy out??

I decided to stop trying to sign into PSN and played a game of NBA 2k14. It launched me into a finals rematch, naturally I switched to the Spurs ended up winning 70-66 . Between the new dibbling (haven't played since 2k13) and switching from a 360 controller to PS4 I have no idea how I won. Hopefully now I can sign into PSN.

What did they change with the dribbling?

I am not in front of my PS4 right now, but is there a "Restore PS4 System" option unless they totally named it something else.

Nothing as far as I can tell, I played the hell out of 2K13 on the 360 and everything is just as I remember.

Maybe they added different control schemes with the sticks and what not for this years version. I didn't play it because I was waiting for the PS4 version to drop first.

When you first start BF4, the update starts downloading in the background. You have to install the update before you can get online, so just go back to the main PS screen and under notifications select the update to install (it should say it is ready to install).

I can't get into BF4 either just hangs on a city landscape image. It's not frozen as I can backout but whenever I hit start it just hangs. My other games are fine.

Is there a table somewhere explaining what the different colors mean on the PS4? I looked in the FAQ but can't find it.
