No problem for me in regards to the controllers. Framerate very minimal...almost not noticeable. I only experience this during a cutscene, when you hit a homer and its being replayed or in the actual running towards bases....again only minimal....and not destorying the entertainment value of the game.

In fact, I am enjoying this than NBA 2k14 NG... AND IM NOT EVEN AN MLB FAN

Couldn't be happier with the PS4 or the Show.
All systems have little hiccups and I'd never buy one if I expected a perfect system throughout. You can pretty much pick any hardware and find a site with people having some sort of issues.

I know you live for Baseball so that is enough to sway me.

Is the PS membership thing just like Xbox live gold. Do I need it at this time for anything. Most likely just playing the show for the time being.

Yes the PS Membership is much like Xbox Live Gold where you must have it to play online or download demos, games, etc...

Can't really think of anything you would need it for right now, outside the fact there are a few free games when you sign up on PS4.

Also, if you by chance had the PS+ on PS3, it will carry over to the PS4.

Pretty much..and The Show is simply a blast. It isn't perfect by any means but no game is. Bottom line is when I start playing it HOURS go by before I know it and I still can't wait to see how the next game is going to unfold.

Like AllStarDad just said PS+ is for online and you do get freebies and discounts on games also.
I have PS+ through 2015..
The freebies on PS3/PS4 so far have paid for the subscription easily.

Only issue I've had is peeling on the plastic on the controller. Not a fan of 'oh just get a cover' as literally a bandaid so I just use that controller less.

Every piece of mass produced electronics has it's issues, the PS4 is fine.

FYI for fistofrage, you DON'T need PS+ to download demos or games. The only thing you would need it for is to play vs another person online (or start an online franchise). You do get awesome perks like free games and discounts on other games, but it's not necessary unless you want to play online. You can download anything from the Vault without PS+, you can do the community challenges, etc.

One of the controllers I own became loose and started making creaking noises not even 2 weeks in. And it's not like the thing was used a lot either. I noticed the other starting to become a little loose too. I feel they are cheaply made from my personal experience. They didn't feel very sturdy out of the box to be honest. That's my only minor PS4 complaint.

I'm on my second PS4. No big deal, just keep your receipt, Sony will replace it in a timely manner. Took about 10 days for me. Don't let fear of something breaking sway you. Stuff breaks, it is a part of life, that is why warranties exist.

Had my PS4 since launch and not one problem. The DS4 is cheaply made but they both still work.

Only problem I've had with my DS4 is my left trigger and left shoulder button. Other than that the thing has held up like a champ under some not-so-favorable conditions.
