Excuse my ignorance, but what is HDCP?

If you have an HDCP compliant monitor than you should have no issues running an HDMI for audio/video.

Just my opinion, but I think there maybe a spike in PS4 sales here soon with The Show on the horizon.

They're still in shortage from what I've read. A demand boost only makes it worse.

I have seen the PS4s here and there in Maryland. They don't last long in store like Target and Walmart around here. Friend of mine went to PA to get one last month due to not being able to find it down here.

PS4 outsold XBO even with a supply constraint and MS bundling their "system seller" at a cheaper than normal price point?

MS is fine - it's not like it's selling like the Wii U (70k) or Vita (10k), and I don't think The Show has really ever moved too much hardware.

We need multiple competitive consoles, the PS4 is excelling (~371k), the Xbox One (311k) is doing well, but obviously needs to take steps to not loose too much market share in the long run. It took years for the PS3 to find it's footing as an overpriced obelisk of a console a year behind... and things turned out pretty nicely in the end.

It's a marathon, not a sprint.

The Show really isn't a system seller. Let's not kid ourselves here just because this is a sports site.

The numbers kinda matched what I was feeling about last month (TF would sell well because that crowd is in MS wheelhouse, but won't move a significant number of systems because it's in MS wheelhouse and most of the FPS people had the system already.)

The Show was a system seller in my house.
600.00 I paid for the ps3 just for the Show. If I didn't already have a ps4 I'd have one by May.
Now I obviously know that's probably not the norm but just saying that The Show is a system seller in my case.

Obviously it sells a few systems here and there, but I was talking on a 'big picture' level.

The Show isn't really a 'big' game. It's a niche title (baseball) in an already niche genre (sports gaming.) Nothing against it, it's been one of the better baseball games over the past ~5 years or so and deserves the sales it gets - baseball gaming just doesn't have that broad appeal that games like FIFA (and even Madden) do.

Jumping back to Sharefactory, i noticed in the video that you can add your own background music. Does this mean that mp3 support will be added in this update or will we still need to use Sony Music unlimited to add music to our videos?

I didnt hear anything about MP3 support being in this update so im doubtful that it will be added in the update.

I didnt hear anything about MP3 support being in this update so im doubtful that it will be added in the update.

I'm also wondering about this. Could just allow loading USB audio into the app only as well. I just hope the Show team had a reason to leave sounds of the show in the PS4 version this year. Maybe they know something, but have to keep it quiet till release. I guess we will find out next week either way.
