I have my left stick (rubber) has ripped in it. I dont know if this was one with the unit or the extra controller I bought.

Mine the rubber is fine, but I do think it is failing, if anything is plugged into it (USB) it will lag out randomly for a couple seconds. I don't really want to be without it, so I am going to wait until the white DS4 comes out and send it in to Sony.

This game isn't good enough in my opinion, for my controllers to take the beating they're getting.
I can't speak for the quality of UFC, but unfortunately NHL is going to destroy thr thumbsticks worse. Regardless I cant wait for 15.

Exactly, theres not other explanation. A few weeks worth if playing Fifa in the same few week period if launch should not by any means rip these thumbsticks unless there's some sort id defect.

Can anyone suggest analog covers other than Grip It? Mine are stretched and torn.

I agree with the bad batch theories. Too many people reported issues.

Contemplating sending them to Sony, but I don't think I can be without both my controllers for too long? What's the turnaround on repair?

I've had them on my DS4 since day one and no problems. I eventually removed one to put a Kontrolfreek in its place.

Yeah, I agree. This isn't user error on anyones part, there were bad batches of PS4s at launch and I am sure there were bad batches of controllers as well. It really isn't a question of "what I am doing vs. what they are doing" kind of deal.

My only issue with my controller is the rubber is wearing out a little bit (am going to buy a grip soon) and the battery life is just next level awful on mine.

Thanks fellas. I'm going to check those out. Probably pick them up on my next GameStop visit. And I think I'll send my controllers in one at a time. I just don't like them being all beat up, even underneath covers.

Comical lawsuit, 5 million.............really??? The guy is out $65 on the game and $5 on his gas. Now with that said I do agree with much of the comments on accountability. I mean lets use EA for instance, the amount of rushing to release broken products just to meet street date with the attitude of "we will just patch it later, they can deal with it until then" has grown to the point it really being almost a crime.

So on one hand I think this lawsuit is flat out laughable, but if one good thing comes from it and makes these game companies more accountable for what they release, then that is a win for all of us.

Uh, no it doesn't. It means that they'll play everything safe, not take any risks, and use an unusually protracted development period to cover mistakes. Why bother trying anything new if it may not work and instead lead to some entitled gamer filing a lawsuit?

So applying that statement to Killzone and this lawsuit... misconstruing the truth about the resolution (and continuing to potentially mislead) qualifies as some combination of 'not playing it safe, taking risks or shortened/risky development practices ?

The fallout/benefit here is probably more detailed (if not omitted) information about the game we're buying in marketing and packaging.
