Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Someone earlier mentioned unplugging your TV from the power and waiting 3 minutes then plugging it in. What order are you turning things on? As in is the TV already on when youre turning on the PS4? If not, try that as well, I believe someone mentioned a weird occurance where if the PS4 was on before the TV it struggled to get the connection but if they did it the other way around it worked fine. I assume youve already tried other HDMI ports on the TV to make sure its not the port on the TV causing the problems? Lastly, I also read a report that there was some sort of residue on the HDMI port on the PS4 itself, or debris, if you have some canned air use that to get anything out of the HDMI port and try again.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I'm so out of the loop after being out of town this weekend. How do you know it is bricked? Just no video, or is there something on the PS4 that indicates this?

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
On a side note to anyone else, has Sony mentioned anything about adding DLNA back in or mp3 support? I really enjoy streaming content through my network to my PS3 so would really like to continue doing this on the PS4.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I thought the same thing, even had a PS4 preordered at Walmart and canceled it figuring I didnt want to deal with flipping it and could wait it out until Feburary and pick one up then. Unfortunately I watched some streaming, got the itch bad and now wish I hadnt canceled the preorder lol
I guess this should motivate me to really hit my PS3 backlog hard. Just too many good games I haven't touched yet.Ryan Spencer

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Well I have a working PS4 and didn't have to go through any other steps. I have tried different TV's including one I know it works on. Different cables again including stuff I know it works on. I got it to come on one time then it froze at a blue screen trying to connect to it to WI-FI. After that was never able to get it to turn on again. Just get pulsing blue light. I hold for safe mode, but it never beeps twice. Just turns off. On with customer support but the guy seems like he is working from home as I can hear kids in background and he didn't know the issue. I don't know...Comment
