Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I promise this is the last time I'll ask... Anyone get their PS4 from Walmart? Any problems with the Walmart PS4?Milwaukee Brewers | Green Bay Packers | North Carolina Tar Heels | Wisconsin BadgersComment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Buddy, do you know if sending in the bricked consoles to Sony means that you'll get a working one back within the next couple of weeks? That's what a customer rep told us over the phone, but I saw that Geek article that said there won't be any new consoles to replace the broken ones for a while.Writer for Operation Sports

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I don't think it matters where its coming from. If its broken it'll be broken and if not it'll be working like the other 99% of the units.

He told me that they are overnighting me a box with a label. Just take it to FedEX. Then when Sony gets it they will fix it and have it back to me in a week or so.Buddy, do you know if sending in the bricked consoles to Sony means that you'll get a working one back within the next couple of weeks? Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Not to diminish the feelings of people who got bad consoles, but unless I've been blind (good possibility), only BenGerman, Buddy and one or two others have posted about having defective units.
Don't get me wrong, I'd be pissed if mine were bad, but the odds of getting a bad console is still very low.
Bottom line is that this stuff happens every launch. My 20GB launch PS3 had YLOD after two days. It sucked, but it did get fixed and eventually gave me seven good years.PSN: xxplosive1984Originally posted by J. ColeFool me one time that's shame on you. Fool me twice can't put the blame on you. Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Hey, primarily it has been Amazon batches of consoles with issues. All of these PS4's were built at Foxconn where the main culprit is at with disgruntled employees. It looks like it impacts the PS4 and X1. I wouldn't try to get worked up about it. If its messed up you can just return it at Walmart or contact Sony to get a replacement. We all need to remember and I know its $400 because money doesn't come easy on this end either, but we are early adopters or say guinea pigs.
I think we have only had a handful of people with issues which is not that bad. I have been reading threads on also on NeoGaf and this problem doesn't sound as bad as those comments on Amazon. I am still shocked by all those negatives on there. Not to diminish the feelings of people who got bad consoles, but unless I've been blind (good possibility), only BenGerman, Buddy and one or two others have posted about having defective units.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
So what's the scoop on Flower? Hear a lot of great things about it...thought about picking it up with the free PSN $10.
Anyone played it?Patrick Mahomes > GodComment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Flower is more of an experience than a game...and knowing what I know about the PS3 version, I'm sure it looks phenomenal on the PS4.
There's really nothing to spoil about the game, so feel free to watch some clips of it and you'll see what it is. Although I would suggest seeking out full bitrate clips and not those like you'd find on the Twitch streams.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Oh no, I still have "mine". I flipped my other at cost, didn't feel like hanging onto it for Black Friday. Someone was looking for one for their kids, so I sold it for what I had in it.
There was one at Meijer that I thought about buying and flipping for profit
But in the end, I just can't do it anymore. I'm too soft for thinking about kids without them.Twitter - WTF_OS

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Not to mention, I also have one perfectly good PS4 that I am absolutely loving. It seems like Sony is taking care of it, and they're almost certainly aware of how upset people are.Not to diminish the feelings of people who got bad consoles, but unless I've been blind (good possibility), only BenGerman, Buddy and one or two others have posted about having defective units.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Started playing Flower again yesterday. It's a great experience, stunning looking, and the motion controls are so much better with the DS4.
