Honestly, I would probably prefer an ear-bud rather than having something covering my ear and disrupting whatever sound BF4 manages to actually push out during a game.

I skimmed over those P4C's, but if they aren't any better than the freebies I'll keep looking.

The game sounds come through the headset as well. They're much better than the chat only ear bud that comes with the system.

Having a headset that plays game and chat audio is far superior than using your TV speakers and a chat bud. You can hear a lot. If you're into shooters and online play, it will change the way you play the game.

I have a Turtle Beach X12 headset and a Turtle Beach PX5 headset. Unless I'm talking to someone that's sitting next to me, I don't play without them. That's the one reason why I'm not chatting online right now. I'm not going to take them off for some ear bud.

The sound works fine. You just need to buy a chat cable from Turtle Beach for $7 plus shipping. At this point I'm just waiting around for the PS4 update to see if the update will fix chat for my PX5.

I've heard the update should be released between 12/15/2013 and early January 2014.

I'm really liking the PS4 UI the more I use it. My favorite thing to do while a game is loading is to pop into the What's New section and see what people are playing, what trophies they've earned, and what pictures they've uploaded. The only thing is, I can hardly ever get video clips to work.

Just a few minutes ago, I was playing Madden 25 and I tried to watch a Madden 25 clip aholbert had shared. When I clicked on his clip, instead of his clip playing, it showed the opening movies from when you start up the game (the Ignite logo, etc.). Hopefully this gets fixed eventually.

I think I just wasted money on this damn camera. Thing has been cowering dust since launch. That could have been another game. SMH.

I kept flirting with the idea of getting one, but could never convince myself there was a reason to have it. The voice command would be the only thing that I use and that's not worth the price of a game.

Santa will be bringing my 6 year daughter the Eye and Just Dance. Hoping some fun games get developed to put this thing to use. It certainly has the potential to be fun. We shall see.

Yeah, unless you have kids I wouldn't recommend the camera. Since anything voice/chat related can be done via the headset. The games aren't there right now, although the technology is pretty nifty.

I had these for the PC and surprisingly they work on the PS4 quite nice, chat and game audio works perfectly.
