The looks seem ok. The main thing is how it feels in the hand.

SIXAXIS and DS3 look identical, but one is the worst controller I've ever used since the Atari 5200 paddles and the other top 5

I don't mind the looks of it, but like stated already, feel is really the only thing that matters.

Maybe I'm not ready for change, but I don't like having a screen/touchscreen/tablet for or in a console controller. Granted the feel will be the most important part, but just give me a comfortable controller.

Yes they were and I miss them quite a bit... I can only imagine where they'd be in this race if they stayed.

It's not a touchscreen, it's a touchpad, like what is on the back of the Vita.

What I find most interesting looking at that, is the array of holes under the pad. Speaker? (hope not) Microphone?

I'm fine with it, though I've preferred the size/feel of the 360 controller vs. PS3 DS3, but do like the PS3 controller...this'll be fine.

I'm willing to sell my 360 now, it gets no play as I'm all Sony to this point...its a shame because its the nice white 360 special edition with Kinect and 320gb hdd...any takers out there lol
