I'm getting mixed signals about whether or not the $399 PS4 purchase includes the camera. Amazon does list as a part of the purchase on their Key Features list, but Kotaku has an article with a specs sheet saying that it's not included.

Even if it's not included, it's good to know that it's the gamer's choice about whether they want to have it or not, as opposed to it being required (and included in the console's price).

Yep. I'd much rather wait and see what games etc.. will use the camera AND if it's worth it, then just buy one.
The only time my Kinect gets used is when daughters play Just Dance.

Its so tempting however I rather make payments (Gamestop) then have to pay in full at one time if you get what I am saying.

Pay payments to yourself. Amazon doesn't charge till it ships. So pay yourself what you'd give Gamestop to earn free interest off of. Plus, if you are like me, no tax with Amazon, that's a $45 savings right there.

500 GB Hard Drive with upgrade potential. Nothing (yet) about multiple SKU's.

I think the old PS3 is gonna have to go on Ebay very soon.

Not selling mine anytime soon. GTAV, Xillia, Last of Us (which I won't be getting until sometime later), and the FFX and KH remasters will make sure of that.

Still a lot of life left in the PS3, and that's why I needed E3 to really bowl me over for a PS4 launch day purchase. It did just that.

I am fine with no camera - I never use our kinect and unless they just do something amazing, I doubt I would use my PS4 camera. Although I kind of want the full experience so I may still buy it.

I want to know release date and if headsets will work on PS4. I hope the Pulse Elite headsets I just bought will work. Many think there is no reason why they wouldn't, but who knows.

More good PS4 news. Its region free like the PS3. So you can import games from Japan.

First. I preordered. I've never had a system on release but this price point is amazing. No need to wait. It won't be any less expensive anytime soon.

Second, I read 500 MB hard drive. Being a person that doesn't know these things, will I be able to use the 1TB I currently have in my PS3 on the PS4? Or should I expect the PS4 to require a different hard drive model?
