Glad to hear some people are converting.

The only reason I own two consoles now is because my friends are all on the 360. I'm glad to hear most of them are on board with the same console as me this time around.

I'm seriously considering buying digital downloads of all my games instead of physical copies.

Anyone else considering this?

I think I just prefer less hassle of having to wait for a shipment in the mail or going to a store to buy games. Plus if I ever have to move or travel I won't have to lug physical games around. And less storage in the house to worry about. Basically like my iPod and iPad.

No, you're not the only one. I'm right there with you including television and movies.

However, unlike television and movies, I sell back my video games. So things need to happen for me to go full digital.

Since I don't buy every game I purchase on release day, I am more likely to go digital for games on sale. Especially if all I can get back for the game is $5 or something.

But this is weighing on me. I definitely want to drop my dependence on discs, finding places for them, etc.

Same here. In fact, I'm kind of mad that I have to pay full price for the PS4 launch games. My current practice is to wait for the $39.99 price drop, for most titles. Hopefully, Sony and MS embrace the Steam model as this upcoming gen matures.

It's good to see people making informed decisions and thinking for themselves versus buying out of blind loyalty.

It was hard brother....
Lots of great times on the XBOX/360. I still may grab one eventually after lrice drop etc...
But right now they need to win me back.

Sony didn't make that site, a guy I know did. MS already contacting him and are having it pulled down for A, the site name and B, he's redirecting it to Sony. LOL

I have my PS4 reserved, one extra controller (canceled the camera), Madden, Watch Dogs, Killzone, Battlefield 4, Need for Speed, and will get an NBA game for it. I don't know when I'm going to sleep, but it's going to be an awesome holiday season!

I haven't sold a game since my PS2 days. It's just something I don't do as I like having a collection. Plus, GameStop basically goes into full rape mode when it comes to giving back value for your game (but that's a discussion for another day).

I have been not getting games on release day recently and waiting for the $39.99 price drop so I do get your point greengt. Will digital games a few months after release in the PS Store have the same price drop that the retail stores will have is a good question.

I'm just ready to give up on physical copies of games. They serve no purpose for me and just add to the wear and tear of the Blu Ray drive. And I hate when I'm playing a game freezes on me mid-action. I don't know if games installed on the HDD freeze with the same frequency.

I like being mobile and being able to carry around the PS4 which seems rather light and having my whole gaming collection with me just is very appealing. I can just plug and play anywhere (friend/family/hotel/etc).

Haven't pre ordered any but I think I'll be getting Battlefield and 2k at launch. Madden is a possibility as I can never resist, but will get the chance to hear how it runs on this gen before PS4 launch.

Only thing I'm worried about is my wedding is November 15th!!!!!!!!!!! Please don't release while I'm on honeymoon!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope a November 1st release happens, give me 2 weeks with the bad boy before I let it out my hands for a week
