Yes. Anyone on the same console can use the Plus. Confirmed by Sony at E3.

I believe MS's could be on separate consoles.

Hope so as my daughter will eventually have her own system in her room.

Meaning as in 4 separate accounts all under one billing plan. 4 accounts that can be used on any console, anywhere. Just like it currently is with the XBL Gold family plan.

So if true and Sonys has a requirement that all accounts be on same console then that sucks for those that will have multiple consoles.

I don't believe either have anything like that. Before with the family share MS had that, but now it's one PS+ or one XBL membership per console, with every user on that console getting the benefits.

I don't really know what the question is, but I will say this:

On PlayStation 3, you used to be able to log into your account on five different consoles (while reaping the benefits of all purchased items, which would have included PS+ and its items). They have since turned that number from five to two. So your personal account can only span as many as two PlayStation 3 consoles, and I think maybe one PSP/Vita device as well, IIRC.

Kind of sucks, but I think that's what they're moving it to for PS4 as well. Yes, I think it's true you can log into your account onto any system, but I believe you'll have to be logged into that account to be able to access the items that you've paid for with said account. Previously, I could have activated someone's EU account on my PS3 and played their games without having been logged in. Now, I don't know if that's the case (unless you're still allowed activation on two consoles and they share that with you).

Pretty sure that's why they're stopping it, was probably used more for piracy than for legitimate family 'multiple consoles in the house' scenarios.

I expect they'll find a way to close that hole now, and both consoles seem to be going with a similar 'one console, one account' plan.

I wasn't quoting you as if I was responding to you, I understood that you basically had the same question.

It was more of a reference quote, but either way I got the response I was looking for.

Sorry for the confusion, the entire thing got kind of convoluted.

The XBL family gold plan that allowed for up to 4 accounts for one sum of $100 on the 360 is going to be no longer on XBone and PS4 has no intentions of implementing anything similar.

Mine just renewed so it might grandfather in current payers. But my accounts still work as it is a nice deal for multiple systems that run at the same time.

Mine just had renewed as well, it definitely could be grandfathered in.

But I'll be dropping it as soon as I can once the new consoles drop. Agreed with the nice deal for multiple systems running at same time. Like when I'm on downstairs and my son is on upstairs.

Alright thanks. And when saying "as playable" it just seems as if Xbox was showing off sports titles much more profoundly than ps4, as the ps4 did not show off one sports title at their announcement.
