Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I didn't have a cradle so I wasn't sure, I just had 2 controllers and made sure one was always plugged in, so when one ran out I just switched. What I like about the PS4 is that the system will charge the controller even when it's off, so there will be no reason to do that this gen.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
So I decided on
PS4
Fifa 14
Watch Dogs
AC IV
I'm holding still for next gen footage of the rest of the sports titles, I'd only get Madden if it plays substantially better than NCAA 14 on the PS3 because I've decided to hold onto my Ps3 so I can continue to play GTA 5, NCAA, TLOU and The Show and 2K basketball has been frustrating me as of late so I don't have much interest in buying it unless I can get a good black friday deal.Bulls|Bears|Cubs| Blackhawks|Huskies|Horned Frogs|

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Already have Battlefield 4 and Fifa 14 pre ordered but I'm thinking about pre ordering another game or two, whenever I wind up selling my PS3. I'm thinking about either Watch Dogs, Assasins Creed IV, or Killzone but I'm leaning towards Watch Dogs right now. In all honestly though, all three of the games look beautiful. I also can't wait for Infamous! It looks so amazingComment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Man, wish I had the money to get a PS4 on launch day. Just can't swing it right now. I'm 70/30 right now on switching after being an XBox guy since 2002. Just really like the direction that Sony seems to be going on, with a renewed emphasis on games first. That fits my needs right now. Having MLB: The Show as an exclusive doesn't hurt either
At any rate, maybe it'll be a blessing in disguise. I'll have the until Christmas time to evaluate both systems, the games, the impressions, etc. Hopefully I can find a console shortly after Christmas.Favorite Sports Teams

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
So if I trade in my PS3 before the PS4 comes out will I be able to access my PS Plus and the PSN from PS3 on the PS4?

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I preordered my PS4 with extra controller, Killzone, BF4, and a year of PS+ awhile ago from Best Buy.
I am having second thoughts though. Its not that I don't think it will be amazing. Its really not a money issue either.
Its more of a time issue. My games are getting backlogged. We had our first son on September 5th. Even before that, my MLB The Show franchise had come to a grinding halt due to free time(between family, work, softball, and old man hockey).
I am literally off from work for paternity leave from Sept 5 to Oct 1, and I have played 2 EASHL games with my team, haven't played any other modes really, want to get back into my Show Franchise, haven't even touched The Last of Us yet, would like to give GTA V a solid play through.
My main selling point of the PS4 right now is BF4(and The Show 14 next spring). I am a huge Battlefield fan. I want to experience it the best way a console has to offer(not a PC gamer at all).
If I wait, hold off on buying the PS4, I can play both these games in their current gen forms. I am just curious how much I would be missing out on. Would I miss out on 63 player Battlefield, never having played it? As for The Show 14, things may settle down by next spring, and I can buy a PS4 then, or stick it out one more year on PS3.

Honestly, by the sound of what you are and will be experiencing, if I were you I would wait until closer to The Show release on NG to consider doing the NG console upgrade, also BF comes every two years, so plenty of time left to enjoy it ... and that is comming from someone who cant just wait, I preordered a BF PS4 bundle without even having a job (thankfully, now I do).
Then again, if its not about money ...Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I understand that 64 players in only on
next gen( and I honestly don't know why
I put 63, wth? Lol).
That was my point, only having played
with 32 players max, by not jumping
right on next gen, would I really be
missing out? Or seeing as how I still
play BF3 when time permits, would I
be able to just deal with it for BF4, and
stick to current gen?
