I was referring to the fact that you will be able to play PS3 games on PS4 eventually...

The ugly in my comment had nothing to do with Sony's game streaming service, you're really reaching just to take a jab at the Xbox One.

Glad I am keeping all my discs for my PS3. I feel so hollow trading them in for peanuts anyway.

Perhaps the upgrade offer could provide the template for Gaikai... have the PS3 disc in and you can play that game via Gaikai, optionally paying a fee for that title to add it to your library. It's certainly creating that kind of feedback/expectation already based on the blog comments, people clamoring for Blizzard and others to do the same.

I'll have to grab FF 14 at some point on PS3 since it'll be a free move to PS4.

The image quality isn't great but it definitely 60 FPS, way too smooth for 30. My guess is it's 1600 x 900 to allow for better particle detail. The explosions look gorgeous.

I'm sure there were problems but not as big as with the 360 launch. With that said, no one knows. There could be issues but we wont know until they are released.

I would agree. I'm 99% sure that there won't be the hardware issues like 360 had last gen. Both MS and Sony know that these boxes are used to stream for long periods, so won't make that mistake this time.

There may be bugs/issues with dashboards and stuff, but they'll fix those with online updates.
