I preordered the watch dogs launch bundle from Amazon. Also just preordered Destiny from Amazon. Finished signing up for the beta a minute ago. So stoked!

Ebay starting to pick up with everyone selling their launch day consoles. Thought about it but in the end when that thing gets delivered to my home theres no way im not gonna open and game. Think it would take triple the retail price to get me to sell it.

Not sure how many people care for Call of Duty nowadays but it's looking like Ghosts might have dedicated servers on all platforms.

Sounds like the rumors were true that Activision was paid by Microsoft to not mention dedicated servers on the PS4 (or to push "the cloud"). Especially when you read Mark Rubin's tweet when asked about the PS3/PS4 specifically.

I just got home and had a message from GameStop saying that my pre-ordered games and accessories are available for pick up November 10th.

There's your answer right there. If PS4s end up being plentiful after release, there's no way you're going to get anywhere near that kind of premium.

There's your answer right there. If PS4s end up being plentiful after release, there's no way you're going to get anywhere near that kind of premium.

I guess there really is no "risk" in selling it now? This would be my first pre-sale on eBay. So I suppose list it pre-sale, offer overnight shipping, and then you're in the clear, as long as you get it and ship it on the same day?

It means you and everyone else in the match are no longer connecting to a random COD player's home internet connection.

It also means there is no longer a "host advantage" for the one guy whose internet connection was lucky enough to be chosen as the match host.

Instead, everyone in the match is connecting to the exact same server. You should see a lot less lag now that you're connecting to an actual server instead of a randomly chosen player's home internet.

This will put everyone on an even playing field, instead of giving the host a latency advantage.

Did anyone pre-order 2 PS4's off of Amazon?I ordered a Battlefield 4 bundle and a regular console before they offered the bundles.I am just getting a little nervous that they might cancel 1 of them for some reason, but was thinking they wouldn't because your allowed to pre-order 1 i guess of each.Just wondering if anybody pre ordered 2 off of Amazon and asked them if they were good or whatever

If it determines you'll get a better connection it is going to connect you to listen servers too, not just dedicated.
