Watch Dogs got delayed?
Oh well, what to get in its place?
Maybe just PSN credit, so I can upgrade DriveClub to full version.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
The closer and closer we get the more and more concerned I am becoming. Madden looks terrible, Battlefield (Beta) looked awful, NBA2k is only releasing screenshots, Live is nowhere to be found and now one of the big games for both systems that had been hyped the most and shown the most video is being delayed. There hasn't really been one thing that I have seen that I can definitely say shows that anyone is ready for November 15th.
Don't get me wrong, I am glad they delayed it. Last thing we need is a half finished game releasing at launch, but it was one of those launch titles that both companies seemed like the were leaning on so it makes me a bit nervous that something could have prevented them from getting where they needed to be in time.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I'm pretty concerned here. I pre-ordered the Watch Dogs launch day bundle on Amazon. I want to know how this affects that.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
It wasn't an official boxed bundle from Sony, just amazon bundling them together. Amazon will probably just ship and charge for the console and adjust the price or give you a choice of another game.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Yeah, the delay of Watch Dogs prompted me to cancel my order, at least for now. I'll get the PS4 in the Spring when that, and more importantly The Show, come out.
The only other game I was looking at getting right away was Madden, and I can't buy an entire new system for that.Comment

From Kotaku and Ubi regarding the bundles:
I reached out to Ubisoft to ask what's going on. Their response was... vague:
Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo understand the importance of releasing games of the very highest quality for their consoles. Our partnership with Sony remains strong and we will have more details to share about the specific benefits of this partnership for PlayStation customers at a later date.
Um, what? I wrote back: "This is a little disconcerting. Tons of our readers pre-ordered the next-gen Watch Dogs bundles - you guys really don't have an answer for what will happen to their pre-orders? Should they just cancel?
Ubisoft's second response:
We hope that players who have pre-ordered the game will still look forward to playing it in Spring 2014, and that the extra polish and quality we’ll be able to add to the game will ensure a fantastic gaming experience.

GTA V
That alone will hold me over till whenever it is that games worthy of a purchase come out.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Those two can easily hold me until Spring, and I've also got Madden OS Vets on the PS3.
I won't be lacking for things to on current-gen while I await the PS4 and The Show. History repeats - I bought the PS3 at around the same time MLB '07 came out, and it looks like I'll be doing the same for the PS4.Comment

Meh, I was passing on Watch Dogs until price drop. Battlefield 4 and Killzone will probably be my purchases to start.Comment
