An overwhelming desire to be shortchanged in value?

Actually I have 2 and I am keeping one. I lent the other 2 my neighbor and asked for it back so I could trade it in. He has now informed me he will pay me what GS will give me. The GS I called was called said the Elite I had was worth $40 plus 30% due to the trade in and perhaps some other "considerations." I need to call the store I pre-ordered from to get a better idea (they were closed). That is not much value though. What would be fair to ask of my neighbor, and keep in mind that I like him? ;-)

I've seen the old elites going for $50-$75 on Craigslist locally.

Yea that's best. I was gonna sell off my Preorder. Now I'm gonna keep it and get both. My girl is gonna have my nuts for lunch, but it's worth it. LOL

I'm so hyped I don't know what to do. This week is gonna fly hopefully

Fly back to Ohio Tuesday night
Meet the movers on Wed to empty my house
Final goodbyes to family & friends on Thursday
Drive back to Virginia Beach on Friday
All while this is going on the main thing on my mind will be playing this system

I know I'm to old for this

Hadn't heard about overheating but have heard from a few reviewers who aren't happy with Sony.

Lots of rumors flying around for both consoles. Only time will tell. It's like serving in the Navy, lots of people will tell you it will suck, lots of people will tell you it was more then worth it. What are you going to do? Just gotta do it and find out. My favorite video game is MLB the Show, it is only available on PlayStation. So there is no doubt in my mind what I am going to do because I know that it will be an amazing game when it comes out early next year.

They just want their cake and to eat it too. Every R* thing for GTA V was in a controlled environment.

Overheating is false from what I've read.
