Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I think you'll be able to find one at release or within a week later if you try hard enough.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Here's some new information about the OS:
Handful of other little handy features:
- You can adjust the safe zone in the PS4 OS.
- Notifications. You can choose from lots of different toggles such as Friends on/off, Downloads complete on/off and so on. Lots of options here.
- OS Music on/off (although its quite relaxing )
- Share button has a few options to how you do things. It has three functions; Take screenshot, bring up menu, start recording. You can change these so that a single press will take a shot and holding button will bring up menu, whilst 'double-tap' starts recording OR you can have Hold button to take screenshot, and tap to bring up menu etc. Having a single press to take a shot works nicely.
Being able to take a screenshot with a quick press of the share button is great news. They probably have it the other way round by default just so people know about the share menu, since it's not always intuitive when pressing and holding a button do two separate things.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
The manager at the one gamestop in town that is really good said that they will be getting enough to cover all pre-orders and quite a few walk-ins. Apparently Sony has pulled all the stops to make sure their supply isnt constrained during the holidays.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
It seemed to be. The edges felt a bit more rounded off, but only marginally. I slid it right in front of my PS3 games on my shelves. Same height and depth. Only thing in the case was a 7 Day PS+ trial.
The one crazy thing to see was the "HD Space Required - 45g" Sweet baby Jesus that 500g Drive is going to fill up so fast.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Guys, I am really nervous. I have been using Amazon since 2008. I have been a prime member since February. I have ordered probably about 12 or so different packages since being a prime member. They have always given me UPS (Almost always) or FedEX (Rarely). I'm obviously still a prime member and obviously used my free 2-day shipping for the PS4 controller. It's supposed to arrive today (Out for delivery). However, I noticed Amazon shipped my PS4 controller with Lasership. I never heard of them so I Googled them. When I did it was pretty much nothing but bad reviews. Whether it be packages coming up missing a lot or arriving two or three days late. So not only am I nervous about getting my DS4, but now I am scared they might use Lasership to deliver my PS4 console. I'm scared because I might not get it on time or at all. Lasership is a private contractor to make things even worse. UGH I hope I don't get screwed over. Really hope UPS or FedEX is the one handling my PS4.
Edit: Reading complaints on Amazon about Lasership. A lot of the complaints are coming from people that live in Tampa... UGH! I really hope they do not deliver my PS4 with Lasership.Last edited by TheBuddyHobbs; 10-30-2013, 09:55 AM.Comment

Edit 2: Contacted Amazon and asked them to put a note on my account that I would prefer UPS or FedEX for my deliveries. They were really nice and were glad to help! Now I just got to hope I get my DS4 today...Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Same thing happened to me kinda. I sold my battlefield bundle and my regular launch edition, but the guy who won (and actually paid for) the battlefield bundle asked if he could cancel because "something came up"...that was the day more battlefield bundles were available on amazon, figured he probably wanted to grab one of those. I took it as a sign...issued a refund and decided to keep it.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
Actually, I completely forgot about something. My last order was an expensive item. It was actually earlier this month. I got home from work and my package was outside sitting next to the trash can... Note: I live in a bad neighborhood. UPS or FedEX always makes me sign for stuff. But I didn't even really think about it until now. But I just checked my Amazon delivery history and guess who delivered that package left outside next to the trash can? Lasership... So this would makes two packages in a row from them... Now that I realized this it makes me even more concerned about my DS4 AND I am even more afraid of them delivering my PS4...Last edited by TheBuddyHobbs; 10-30-2013, 10:19 AM.Comment
