Yeah, there's some real head-scratchers in regards to basic media functionality. Hopefully, it's not long after launch that those things come via firmware update.

With everyone creating false Facebook profiles, isn't there a way that every Facebook status can be sent to Twitter? That way instead of adding a lot of Facebook profiles we can just follow everyone on Twitter and see videos there. This might not be possible, but I know tweets can be sent to Facebook.

Is this something that could be added by a patch. The removal of mp3s and the lack of streaming kills custom music on the Show for next gen.

I'd have to assume it will be patched in. This would give Xbox One a huge advantage.

Sorry if this has already been mentioned guys but I'm confused. How are we supposed to get the PS4 on the 15th when most preorders are already taken and the game is sold out basically?...I don't get the point of a game coming out on a date and you can't even get it because it's already sold out and reserved. Unless you buy a bundle pack and even that isn't for the 15th it's just guaranteed before Christmas. Well duh I want it before Christmas because I'm supposed to have it on the 15th of November so I'm not going to be sold on that fact lol. But let me stop rambling before I get bashed, I just wanted to know what are the rest of you guys doing about it, unless you all have it reserved already then you're probably laughing at me lol.

What genius at Sony decided to remove the ability to play .mp3s from the ps4?

That pretty much eliminates custom music from the system. No custom music for NBA 2k (if they ever add it) or the Show. This is a huge omission in my opinion.

I know they're trying to pimp their own music service but there's no way IMO that they don't allow mp3s in the future.

I don't think it will...other features that they announced that aren't ready or available at launch are being designated as such. Features such as DLNA or mp3s are simply being stated as not capable.

Also, no game trials (demos)...at least at launch.

After a week of rumors and a day after we cited our own sources' assertions, Activision is now confirming that, yes, indeed, Call of Duty: Ghosts will run in 720p resolution on Xbox One, 1080p on PlayStation 4. Sixty frames per second on both.P

Technically, the Xbox One will bump Ghosts up to 1080p. On the PS4, the game will already be giving the console 1080p graphics to display. Ghosts producer Mark Rubin explained on Twitter:P

Hey, been on the road last couple weeks so haven't had a chance to update, but wanted to confirm that for Xbox One we're 1080p upscaled from 720p. And, we're native 1080p on PS4. We optimized each console to hit 60 FPS and the game looks great on both. Still on the road, but glad to see the great reception to Extinction. Can't wait for next week's launch.

To be honest, the removal of MP3 support AND media streaming is enough to make me cancel my pre-order. These things, combined with the ability to ONLY share on facebook are terrible decisions that should cause someone to lose their job. They've just lost a customer.
