Just curious but how is there so many extra units not for pre order when I could have sworn sony released a statement saying they want to have 1 million consoles for launch and last numbers I saw was at 750,000 pre orders? With only 250,000 units available that's not many extras per store for USA and Canada. If that is the case they must have hit way over target of the million consoles for launch

I wonder if the 20% off also works for the stores that are matching the Target deal, I know it's doubtful, but $96 for 3 games would be great.

I doubt it, but I have a feeling that Best Buy's POS system will still give you the $25 in myBestBuy certificates. Unless the system has it set to where they have to be regular price, it will more than likely look for three next gen SKU's and send the cert that way. That's the way it worked for most things when I worked there, and my friends say it hasn't changed much.

so how are they gonna handle selling consoles the days after launch, it seems like to me theyre gonna just have some for launch the wait for blk friday to ship more. idk this is the first time im purchasing a console at launch myself

No we don't do store preorders.

It's looking more and more like nobody knows anything about how next Friday is gonna go down.

So many conflicts still. No extras, many extras, camp out for hours, show up Friday afternoon.

Mabster i don't live in a big city and pretty much every gamestop up to 3 hours away and BB , Walmart , Target ect all told be it would be very very unlikely to get a system without a pre order


Can you get one possibly? sure if you're willing to freeze your butt off for 2-3 days camping

I talked to another supervisor friend at Best Buy and he said they could have as many as 70 extra units at their store. He also said that he's matching the Target deal for anyone who asks and brings proof, like the ad or pulling it up online, he's just not telling people about it. It's definitely going to be a YMMV thing.

Talked to my BB manager and he said they have 110 preorders and only 130 in stock. So 20 extra. Friday is going to be interesting.

Talked to a Target rep today in store. Killzone, Knack, Ghosts and possibly 2k14's street dates have been lifted. He scanned them and received no prompt for street dates. All the EA games still showing up as Tuesday releases.

Will be doing B2G1 free at 8am tommorrow. I'll let you guys know the results.

Know the laziness of Electronics people there, you are gonna have to get someone to work with you to help. If you raise enough hell, you should get firm answers on the ps4 games available now

let us know about AC4 and Lego Marvels if you could

I'm not supposed to say anything . Thing is most folks will check walmart , best buy , GameStop, and target before us. Not to mention you need a membership to even shop .
