Nice. Just checked my PS4 order status on Amazon and it is currently "Preparing for Shipment" Hoping to get the email that it has shipped sometime today

Ordered on June 10th and still says Not Yet Shipped for me. But I'm just a couple hours away from Amazon's shipping center.

From what I understand we are stuck with our PSN name from PS3. You can always create a brand new one. Sometimes a fresh start is necessary.

I was never a real big PS3 gamer so a fresh start is exactly what I'm doing with the PS4.

Anyone in NYC that doesn't have a PS4 preordered but wants one will have a shot if they want to stand in line at 12am on November 15th-

"Sony is making 444 extra PlayStation 4s available to New Yorkers that weren't able to pre-order its new console before stock ran low. The consoles will be available at The Standard, High Line hotel in NYC at midnight on November 15th. Coincidentally, The Standard will also play host to a launch event featuring 30 PlayStation 4 consoles and an interactive lighting installation that will dominate the east and north facades of the hotel." SONY EMPHASIZED THAT PEOPLE NEED TO BRING CREDIT CARDS FOR THE PS4's NO CASH!

Apparently this will be a launch party deal with kiosks setup and game developers there should be pretty cool.

Oh Yeah man, it's obviously what Sony wants for marketing purposes. It's centered around a launch party going on there so being able to play some of the new games with the developers and a shot at a PS4 may entice some people to brave the line.

I sold my One to a fellow OSer for cost...so I am looking to get something for my extra 4. I'm thinking with the hype, it's best I put it up on CL Friday afternoon. If it's going for 200+ profit, I'll sell both.

I ordered on Amazon right at 11 am cst. Looks like my 2k now has a November 19th delivery estimate and my other two games on the 15th. My PS4 is also coming from Amazon, so I guess that is not too bad.

I talked to someone on the online chat, and he said they were slammed and working on stocking all orders. I mentioned how some were getting Nov 15 ship dates to show up, but I could not, and he didn't really respond to that.

As a prime member, I expected my other two games that were in stock to ship in two days, so that would have gotten them here on Thursday. It stated that before I ordered, but after ordering, it changed to the 15th. I got a $10.99 credit as a result, so that's not too bad either.

Just hope everything that is scheduled to come on Friday, actually comes.
