I need to get used to the new 2k controls! I played a little Battlefield too. They are both graphically awesome. Battlefield seems like it's going to be a blast to play online. Both are downloading updated now, battlefield is 800 mb and 2k was 2gb.

Nothing right now, surprisingly. Me, 2 other dudes in their mid 20s and a couple around the same age.

This is the highest selling gamestop within a good 100-200 mile radius so I am surprised. One of the tiny stores in the middle of nowhere here (Lompoc) had a line of 50+ before the store opened and a best buy in Santa Barbara had a dude camping out with a tent already.

Yeah I passed by my local Gamestop coming home from work just to see how many people were there and not many people were there at all, nobody was outside, and it looked like only about 10 people were inside.

For those who pre-ordered at Best Buy and are picking up tonight what time do you plan on getting there?

I've only done one midnight release before and it was Madden 09.
Everyone else had pre-ordered and they had one line for them and one line for the "non-pre-orderers". I was the only one, so I was in and out in 2 minutes and the others looked like they were going to be there awhile.

I wonder if getting there a little bit late (around 12:15-12:20) would be better than arriving 20 or 30 minutes early...

I don't think it's as bad as the review scores. I just don't think it's a $60 game.

Also, the streaming from the PS4 is pretty freakin good.

I'd be surprised if any get some truly long "Black Friday-esque" stuff going on. I man in the long run we're talking 20-100 systems which is tiny compared to things like big game launches. Actually the first person just showed up here that actually has his ps4 pre ordered and paid off already. 11.5 hours of waiting in line for him.

It really is. I was watching shakedowncapos stream of 2k and it looked very nice and smooth

Yeah, uh, I feel dumb, but I am on UPS location finder and they don't have a label for "hub," what exactly am I looking for? A drop box? just trying to figure out how far away the hub would be if I have them hold it

Yeah it's going to be one of the couple games I pick up. Mainly because my fiancee played the demo and she enjoyed it (the extent of her gaming is pretty much DS/3DS and Kingdom Hearts) so if I can pick up something that she can possibly enjoy I will.
