Comcast Internet and cable is still down in parts of Chicago first they said by 8PM, then 10PM, then 12PM...

Besides the Comcast and power issues today I've had a good launch weekend, I really wish everyone the same PSN isn't going to be perfect just be patient and things will iron themselves out in a couple weeks I'm guessing

"What's New" has finally loaded for me. After only seeing it on my initial boot up, I was thinking I'd never see anyone on my feed. With that being said, I've finally experienced the total PS4 UI. Not too shabby.

I'm pretty happy with it. The 360 might get traded in earlier than I thought.

I'm really lucky, zero issues. No crashes, no loud fan, nothing like that. My router seems to close ports it needs I need to get a guide on how to fix that. I can see ac4 and bf4 getting traded in. Other four games are getting more of my attention at the moment. Considering Mose of these games are ports I can't wait to see what this system can do down the road

Whelp, I surprised my father in law with his PS4, ours are both working great. Had to drive two hours to get ours since I had to have my uncle pre order them at Fred Meyer since in my town we were all sold out.

So tomorrow will be monday and my weekend of binge gaming on my PS4 will have to go back to "mormal" gaming on it (until next weekend hahaha).. but I was wondering if I should leave it in standby even while I'm of at work.

I've had it on standby when I go to bed at night.. granted I'm like going to bed at 5am and getting up at 11am this weekend lol

Or should I turn the whole thing off while I'm at work?

Can someone explain to me how the video sharing works? I can't get any videos to work right now. I'm clicking on them and the only thing that pops up is the queue to start the game.

Must of been something w my net!!! Loaded both 2k and bf in less than 20. Got on and played 2 online matches of bf. YES!!!!

Played some BF4 online and when I quit the game after a match I got an error and was booted back to the xmb. I checked the BF4 save file and it had got corrupted. I am starting to get frustrated and I'm afraid to start up any game as these problems are all to frequent. Earlier my NBA 2K14 file got corrupted as well. Loving my PS4 but these technical issues are making me play it less.

I keep getting the following message when trying to play Resogun and Contrast.

"Cannot start the application.
The PS4 is not connected to the internet and cannot verify the license for the application."

The weird thing is that I can access PSN store and dl things, I am connected to the net.

EDIT: Figured it out, used the Restore Licenses option under PSN and it worked.

What is the difference between leaving your PS4 on stand-by and completely off? Does one option gives a more benefit experience?

People in this thread said that it will download updates for you in standby mode, but since that's not an everyday thing I just shut mine completely off. It probably doesn't make a difference, but I just prefer not to have it running at all if I'm not using it.

I turn mine off when I head to bed and will be at work. I don't know if u gave to be in stand by mode to use the vita connect or whatever.

Standby will allow system updates cloud saves etc says on screen when selecting

Check the gaming deals thread. BB is having a minimum $100 trade in no matter what system.
