How would it be different though? The PS3 can see Vita players so shouldn't they be able to see PS4 players considering the Vita can even join PS4 parties and chat.

Also, I was playing DC Universe on my PS4 while my friend used his PS3 so they should be on the same network, right? I had to text him to get on since I messaged him through PSN if he wanted to play and he replies back, "yeah", but never got on.

I didn't realize they didn't show up at all, strange. Really strange. I guess they never put into the PS3 OS to tell if PS4 people are online.

I'm keeping my money from any game that I feel doesn't give me the experience I'm looking for and should have this gen sorry. We had enough of that on the ps3 360

Power went out last night while I was watching netflix. Power came back on, turned on the PS4, it booted up in safe mode, it did a self diagnostic check........rebooted itself back into normal mode and just said the PS4 was turned off improperly......Other then that, all is still working well.

Yea that sounds right. Probably not a psn problem but rather a PS3 update is probably needed to fix it. They never fixed the issue with Vita players showing online at the bottom of ps3 FL though and I wonder if the 3 will ever get another update.

Yeah, they probably won't bother fixing it at this point, better to put all their OS guys on the PS4 than try to fix something like that in the PS3 that might be quite a bit harder to fix than most people realize (seems small, but it might not be).

NBA Live 14 is not a horrible game by any stretch of the imagination. When I first played it I thought "man this game sucks", but when you get past how ugly it LOOKS next to 2k14 then you'll be able to see that it actually plays a pretty darn good game of basketball.

With that said, the game is not worth $59.99 but if you get it for sub $40 then it's a pretty good deal. It's a nice change of pace.
