Has xbox live been completely smooth and hiccup free since the One's launch?

I asked this because I really wanted to know, not to console war or flame. I don't want to venture into the the One thread to find out.

Has the One launched flawlessly?

From what I have heard NFS gets stale after a couple weeks. That is just what a couple friends told me when I was thinking about buying it.

I think this is what happened to me. While it is a damn good looking game,I just got bored with it...and seeing as how pretty much all my friends list has been playing BF4...I used the Gamestop trade in promotion to get BF4,so that meant goodbye to NFS.

I hope you are right because I am really enjoying my PS4. The main argument I have is that PSN has been around for a long time, it's not new. Just because people are now paying for it shouldn't make it worse. It's not like that changes how the PS's connect to the network. I'm not sure why there would be growing pains on PSN just because it is now a paid service. They have been running PSN for years and years. Maybe I don't understand how it works.

It's definitely not the same psn. Otherwise ps3 users would be experiencing the outages too. Which to my knowledge and my personal experience they are not. Somehow the PS4 psn architecture is different then the PS3 psn architecture.

According to websites all of the services had issues on Christmas Day. Live also went down shortly after the launch of the One.

They should as long as they fit. It's a standard jack on the controller. I have a set of J4's that I use and they work perfect.

Is Xbox live for both systems combined or do they have separate like Sony does? Do you guys see a day when the PSN will have both PS3 and PS4 content side by side?

Dunno if this has been mentioned, but if you go to the Store and the PS+ tab and you go all the way to the right you can pre-download a free trial of Killzone's multiplayer for you to play for free from the 28th to the 31st.

so i havent played my ps4 in about a week, and i start playing and i notice that its showing my actual name ony app, it was showing my psn id before and i made sure it wouldnt show my real name on psn so now when i open my app instead of my psn name like usual it shows my real name, and again i made sure its set to my psn name, anyone know how to turn it off completely

When you log in it will show your profile name to you no matter what you allow other people to see. As long as you don't have the share option checked everyone else will see your PSN name unless you send or accept real name requests.

I never received the 30 day trial of PSN+...must've been a launch thing idk...Oh well, I did finally get a PS4 tho...I'm stoked as hell to fire it up on my next 7 days off

If BF4 had a bot mode similar to COD Ghosts; I wouldn't need another shooter for a long time.

I finally played Zen and It's pretty good. I still prefer the look and feel of Pinball Arcade though.

I've only done the free Sorcerer's Lair table and I'm in a waaaaaaay distant second to Lingering Regime on my friends list. Crazy score. I'll probably buy some more soon, but I was surprised to see that they didn't offer all of the available ones in a package of some kind.

Being able to track scores further reminded me how much Pinball Arcade needs that patched in. Hopefully they get on that soon.
