I went to my Best Buy today and asked by buddy if they had any PS4's.

He said hold on, I'll check.

He came back with one in his hand. the last one from Saturday's shipment.

I have a damn Best Buy credit card.

Result: See you guys online in a couple of hours after this thing is done updating

Oh....I can still use my PSN name that I had on PS3, yes?

How long before something happens at the system software update screen...it says 'preparing to install' for several minutes now. 1.52 is downloaded. ..just waiting for it to start install. Do I need to do anything?

I'm wondering until when it's going to be called next-gen. When does it become current-gen? When did you guys start calling the PS3/360 'current-gen'? I got my PS3 in Dec 2010, and by then it was current-gen.

For me and many others it seems the ps3 and 360 were 'next gen' until the ps4 launched. Somewhere someone at Nintendo frowns at that response.

I don't think it's been officially announced yet but it has been delayed past the February date and we don't know the new date yet.

I think netflix works better for me on ps4 than my 360.

Madden 25 is, so far, a considerable upgrade to me over my 360 version. Quite happy so far!

Put BF4 in to find it needs patching to the tune of 617 MB lol. Currently 64 MB into that. Gonna take a while. Will it continue to download in standby or should I just leave it on?
