Finally broke down and bought Assissian Creed 5 Black Flag. . I never played the series yet.. so this is new to me.. I read a lot of reviews and it appears to be a popular hit and one of the best ps4 games.. Thanks too all who helped me with the suggestions. . Hopefully I'll enjoy this series and get my money worth. Thanks again

Its a great game Chief. I only played AC 1 but got the jist of the story while playing Black flag. I beat the main game and find myself coming back to try to get 100% completion. Was thinking about getting the Freedom Cry DLC and playing as Adewale.

I think netflix works better for me on ps4 than my 360.

Madden 25 is, so far, a considerable upgrade to me over my 360 version. Quite happy so far!

Put BF4 in to find it needs patching to the tune of 617 MB lol. Currently 64 MB into that. Gonna take a while. Will it continue to download in standby or should I just leave it on?

For me it seems Netflix works better on my PS3 than my PS4. Movies/shows that are not 5.1 surround sound, I can't get the voice/dialogue to come through my center speaker in my surround sound set up with the PS4 netflix, but with the PS3 netflix the voice/dialogue comes through the center speaker just find, as is supposed too.

Huh...I found the sound to be quite good though I didn't check the center channel, but what I was really amazed by was how fast the movie buffered. I selected it, the percentage went to 100 in just a few seconds and it was playing. My 360 has buffering issues at times.

Is this why I can't play single player in Battlefield since I've bought the game at launch? I gave up trying after restarting from the first mission 3 times.

No battlefield 4 has that problem on all platforms. Happened on my 360 also.

Have to agree with this wholeheartedly.

I've had my PS4 for over a week now and the one thing that jumps out at me is how much better online gaming is. PS3 games (especially The Show) were a laggy mess, but Battlefield has been smooth as butter every time I play. No players randomly jumping all over the screen, the weather effects look nice online.

Just a great experience overall. Well done Sony

Tomb Raider is going to be 60fps on PS4, initial reports were saying that it was only 30fps.

I've had my PS4 for over a week now and the one thing that jumps out at me is how much better online gaming is. PS3 games (especially The Show) were a laggy mess, but Battlefield has been smooth as butter every time I play. No players randomly jumping all over the screen, the weather effects look nice online.

Just a great experience overall. Well done Sony

I don't know what you guys are talking about here. Both ps3 and ps4 games have ran smoothly online for me. Actually it's easier for me to get into matches on BF3 ps3 version than it is in BF4. There's really not any difference, probably a placebo effect.

Also, i'm considering getting assassins creed black flag, even though i've never really been into those games. Heard it's pretty good though.

Hilariously bad night of gaming, we went to Vegas's first Golden Corral for my birthday and then with our son staying over at grandmas we decided to get some relaxing gaming in. After killing all 15 of our Skylanders in a single level and then spending 45 minutes trying to get to 25m on a Star Wars table in Zen Pinball (quit after 60 balls) we called it a night.

Edit: wow, then score 78 points with My Player in 2k and lose (112-109 Clippers over Kings, 3 at the buzzer to win), 1-1 in the playoffs. I hate Chris Paul.

As one of the people who yelled a lot about PS3 network speed and "jumpiness/lag" etc.. I have to agree. Been very smooth so far. Very happy.

The PSN speeds etc.. as has been noted a ton, was very different from place to place in the country. That's why some had no problems while some did.

The PS3 was on same network as my XBOX360 and LIVE killed PSN.

So far with PS4 it's been very nice and that makes me happy

I haven't really noticed any speed difference as far as downloads, in-game lag, etc (and it wouldn't be a fair comparison anyway since I recently doubled my download speeds). But, there's a BIG difference in how the PS4 programs utilize that bandwidth. As an example, getting to a Madden online connected career on PS3 can take almost a minute just getting from the main menu to where you can actually do something on the career mode screen. On PS4, it's 10 seconds if that long (on the same connection). It just seems much more optimized on the PS4.
