Both of these consoles are really awesome machines. Sweet time to be a gamer. It could never happen, but imagine how a reboot of College Hoops would look on one of these things.

Why did you have to mention it? Still a sore spot, 7 years later. No college basketball, no college football. Thankfully I've been able to get into non-sports games much more than I used to.

I'm a very, very, very, very casual baseball fan. Honestly, I don't even really watch baseball at all anymore. Well, unless it's on Sunday afternoons and I want to take a nap... I'm not calling baseball boring, I'm just saying baseball is the perfect background noise for a good nap.

Back to my point, last gen I bought The Show every single year except one and the game is awesome even for casual fans. My problem is that it's a very time consuming game. I only played through a whole season a time or two last gen and I sim a lot. Also, since I am a casual fan I would always pretty much drop The Show as soon as the next sports game was released (last gen it was NCAA Football )

Knowing all of that and with Watch Dogs releasing in May and UFC in June, plus I'm still playing NBA 2K almost every night, I have almost talked myself into skipping The Show... But, then I watch a video... my "I got to have that game" feeling rushes in and my thoughts of passing on it disappear. I know that <strike>if</strike> when I get it, I'll never get my money's worth, but the game just looks so damn good. Man, why can't my job just be to sit at home and play video games? .

Maybe the Quick Counts feature will help you be able to get through games more speedily. I might mess around with it, but I'm too much of a control freak to let that much of the game fall outside of my control.

Sounds like Ubisoft's "The Crew", is going to release in autumn of this year instead of early spring as originally planned. With all the racing games slated at the end of the year I wonder if there's room for all of them to succeed?

Quick counts are a game changer. You will really love it in this years version. Games are around 25 minutes for me.

Counts will be generated. So you may start an at-bat with a 2-2 count instead of 0-0.

Quick counts are a game changer. You will really love it in this years version. Games are around 25 minutes for me.

I'm definitely going to give it a try. With that said I've always liked my system that I've had which is:

I play the first 10 games in full, then I use the sim every six method, so that I get to use all of the starting pitchers.

I actually don't "quick sim" the sim games though. I enter the game and Fast Forward to the seventh inning and intervene accordingly. I believe that it was last year when they added the ability to FF through each pitch rather than each At Bat and honestly that is one of my favorite features of any sports game.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that I remember reading that you can't combine QC's and FFing... If you could that would be perfect for me because rather than being someone who wants to have a fingerprint on every single stat that my team has, I'm more of a "I want to get to the next season see if I can build a better team" type of guy. With that said I like be involved with my teams overall success or lack there of as much as possible.

Ok, I must say the PS4 is starting to fall behind on the software side of things. First Xbox One got HD streaming on Twitch, along with archiving on Twitch, now direct upload to Youtube too ? If Microsoft announces a price drop, Sony will be in trouble.

Oh man....

I always check out the college hoops section every summer hoping there would be an announcement or rumor of a college hoops game.

I wonder how that would work out though. Aren't they not allowed to use player likeness and that's why they don't have names? Can they make player models photorealistic to actual players without the rights to use their names?
