I would be all over early access.


Actually I wish more companies would go with getting the game early, like the weekend with EA Season Ticket, if you go digital, that would have me lean towards going digital on some games.

I don't know I would need a little more than just getting the game a few days early to go digital. Maybe if it was a week early and $10 off in store price I would. But hate losing the ability to trade in.

Or if the somehow made it where you could trade digital game via PSN. Don't know if it would ever be possible.

The Nyko power pack is getting horrible reviews on Amazon, people saying it interferes with L2/R2.

Sony has reserved their date for Gamescom on August 12th. Besides the games we saw at E3 I'm hoping we could be seeing the new games from Santa Monica, Guerrila Games, Dinosaurum Games, and Quantic Dream. Summer Fun!

Do many of you purchase games digitally? If so what are some pros/cons.

I know that the hard drive has limited space and I'm thinkin about goin digital with destiny.

Pros:
Don't have to go to the store

Cons:
Pretty much everything.. No trade-ins, sometimes when I can't connect to PSN I can't play them, etc.. Moral of the story is, don't go digital, you'll regret it.

And I'm pissed about Destiny. I purchased it 3 months ago on the store and haven't been let into the beta. Unacceptable. Half of the people in the beta didn't even purchase the damn game..

Can't you do this long *** download and install a few days before launch? So you can play immediately instead of waiting another

Yeah, it's called preloading. They just added it. Any game released from this day forward on the PS Store will support it (I'm pretty sure there is one game that is coming out in the coming weeks that doesn't support it, but I forgot what it was).

I believe if you purchase/or download a game from the PS Store it becomes fixed in your PS library. Meaning, Resogun was a PS+ freebie that I was able to download at one time. I deleted it from the HD because I wasn't playing it anymore but I can re-download it again for free if I wish to have it again. Of course the drawback is that it needs to reinstall again.

Games like NBA2K14 that I purchased a physical disc copy, I deleted, and traded it in. Games like that are not stored in your library.

The convenience to jump from game to game without messing with physical media cannot be overstated.

Yea i'm all digital now too. So convenient to have all the games installed and ready to play whenever. I never trade games in either, so there really are no cons if you don't bother re-selling games.

20% all new games at best buy will keep me away from digital for at least two years. $30 for two years was hard to pass up.
