I use a credit card and don't even think twice about it. My card have protection built in and the banks respond quickly to events. I'm ok with that.

No matter how you slice it your info is out there... Buying from amazon etc etc. The good thing nowadays is banks do a great job of catching fraud and making sure you don't get screwed on charges.

Me too.

Also, for anyone having issues with offline games freezing at the title screen. Disable your PS4 internet connection. Happened on 3 different games of mine. Now it's fine.

I have my debit card hooked up to my account and I don't stress it. Plus a lot of times I want to purchase something and only need a buck or two more to buy it. I don't necessarily want to get a card everytime.

Yeah, I keep a close watch on my account so I know if anything strange is going on. No stress over the network security here.

Not sure what to do. I just got a PS4 yesterday and, like others here, can't connect to PSN. I'm not sure if it's related, but I seemed to be able to log in to PSN on my PS3, but couldn't go on to the PS-Store. Funny that it did download the latest update and I was logged in...unless that's different than actually logging into the PSN network (I'm not that knowledgeable about all the online stuff).

On the PS4 I got the error code NW-31456-9, which according to this is because "PSN or the game's server may be temporarily unavailable. Please check the status of the game's server via its website".

Not sure if it has anything to do with it, but I found this and tried it, yet it didn't work for me.

It's related. There's nothing wrong with your ps4. PS3 psn infrastructure is different. Just have to wait.

From everything I've been reading KimDotCom paid them off with 3,000 mega privacy vouchers and they stopped the ddos a couple of hours ago. Now its just on Sony and Microsoft to bring things back up.
